Très Belle.....!!

When we were heading out to the airport yesterday to pick up David we passed a bride on the way to her big day traveling in grand style. The distinctive green and white number plates belong to Belle Classic Limousines who have the most amazing range of old classics including Bentleys, Daimlers and Jaguar Mk 5's as above. Although I'm not all that bothered about cars, these beauties conjure up images of whiling away summer afternoons, sipping champagne on rolling green lawns, wearing long floaty dresses, you can see where I'm going with this, tennis, boating on the river (wearing boaters!). The name Belle is the icing on the cake, how perfect! It's been raining cats and dogs in Perth this weekend, the welcome end to a very long dry spell, I hope you had a really great weekend and are all set for another week.....

  1. I love them too! much more than most of modern cars, which have no special style. A 50ies jaguar would be my favorite! :o)

  3. I love these cars! But I'd be afraid to take it out of the garage! Did you ever notice that so often the only time one gets to ride in a limo (or the equivalent) is when they get married or buried?

Glad for the rain! And hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

I just hope you weren't driving when you took these pictures! ;-))

  11. Older cars of yester year had more class and style unlike today's cars that look all the same :-).

  12. I'd say that bride is going to arrive in style.
To answer your question on my blog, the palo verde tree only blooms in the spring and they usually last 3 to 4 weeks. I found another beauty today and photographed it.
