899 Hay Street in the west end of Perth, once home to the The Bank of New South Wales, now the showroom of
Canali an exclusive Italian menswear clothing line established in 1934 by brothers Giovanni and Giacomo and considered amongst the greatest
men's suit designers in the world. Along the same street and close by are the showrooms for Versace and Hugo Boss, so I think I can quite confidently say to the discerning male dressers out there... if you have 'molto denaro' we've got you covered! Hope you have a fabulous Thursday.....
Hmmm...I started a comment and it disappeared. Anyway, I said it looks like you have an entire men's fashion district here. I'm just glad I no longer have to wear suits and have become so spoiled that I can't wait to get home from the golf course and into some comfortable clothes! :-)
ReplyDeleteRe your question: I use Photoshop CS3. But most photo processing programs have the ability to "posterize" a photo. In PS CS3, I go to Adjust Image and scroll down to "Posterize." Click and then play with the values until I see what I like. Very simple.
That is quite a men's fashion district!! I think my sons have pretty much moved past fashion to comfort now that they're in their 40s!! Does look like a fun place to shop though! Hope your week is going well! I can't believe how quickly time flies these days -- got to be old age!!!!

I like to see men well turned out.
ReplyDeletesuperbe cet immeuble, il fait temple
ReplyDeleteMust be a good place for a little man-watching!
ReplyDeleteI am sure that is the place to buy men's clothes...if you have the money! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteAh! This reminds «Louis» of Avenue George V in Paris!
ReplyDeleteOne of those "if you have to ask you can't afford it" places, I gather. Do men wear business suits very much in a laid-back, semi-tropical city like Perth?
ReplyDeleteNice looking store.
ReplyDeleteVery swanky indeed. Beware its Friday the 13th tomorrow :-).
ReplyDeleteLovely building. As for the $$, I don't mind, my love and I keep separate accounts, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteI use charity shops myself.....
ReplyDeleteStylish entrance,- and details around it.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Knowing the prices of clothes in such shops, no wonder they choosed a former bank for setting! :o)
ReplyDeleteA lovely old building- hope they kept the interior nice too...
ReplyDeleteGreat satisfaction for the Italian fashion, the Versace brothers were born in my hometown Reggio Calabria! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI often think an old bank building would make a lovely apartment. My bank manager does not.
ReplyDeleteVery classy shops in Perth ... I think an old bank would be just perfect !
ReplyDeleteClassy place...befitting of an ex-bank.
ReplyDeleteIronic but appropriate that expensive, stylish suits should be housed in a bank building! The exterior appeals in an art gallery way! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteGlad they have not pulled it down to replace it with another glass monstrosity!
ReplyDeleteI could spend some time there.
ReplyDeleteAn elegant looking place.
ReplyDeleteA quite elegant place, in any sense!
ReplyDeleteGreat location...wonderful title for this photo. All of it is quite easy on the eyes.
ReplyDeletehaha, that store looks posh indeed.
ReplyDeleteand let me guess,,, no picture taking allowed. ^-^
