From bank to swank.....!

899 Hay Street in the west end of Perth, once home to the The Bank of New South Wales, now the showroom of Canali an exclusive Italian menswear clothing line established in 1934 by brothers Giovanni and Giacomo and considered amongst the greatest men's suit designers in the world. Along the same street and close by are the showrooms for Versace and Hugo Boss, so I think I can quite confidently say to the discerning male dressers out there... if you have 'molto denaro' we've got you covered! Hope you have a fabulous Thursday.....

  1. Hmmm...I started a comment and it disappeared. Anyway, I said it looks like you have an entire men's fashion district here. I'm just glad I no longer have to wear suits and have become so spoiled that I can't wait to get home from the golf course and into some comfortable clothes! :-)

Re your question: I use Photoshop CS3. But most photo processing programs have the ability to "posterize" a photo. In PS CS3, I go to Adjust Image and scroll down to "Posterize." Click and then play with the values until I see what I like. Very simple.

  2. That is quite a men's fashion district!! I think my sons have pretty much moved past fashion to comfort now that they're in their 40s!! Does look like a fun place to shop though! Hope your week is going well! I can't believe how quickly time flies these days -- got to be old age!!!!

  8. One of those "if you have to ask you can't afford it" places, I gather. Do men wear business suits very much in a laid-back, semi-tropical city like Perth?

  15. I often think an old bank building would make a lovely apartment. My bank manager does not.

  18. Ironic but appropriate that expensive, stylish suits should be housed in a bank building! The exterior appeals in an art gallery way! Very impressive!
