I kind of like this image because it reminds me of a painting done in the 'Pointillism' style, do you see it? and also for the many contrasting shades of Aussie green and gold in the ripply reflections. Well here we are at middle point of the week again, hope you have a great Wednesday, I have a feeling mine will be fantastic.....! It's heating up again in Perth, 35C yesterday.....
This is gorgeous, Grace!! And it does look like a painting! Isn't it exciting to be able to capture something like this? I love it! Sounds as though you're going to have a great Wednesday and I'm so glad! We all need those days!! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI really want to turn this photo upside down. The trees look very regal.
ReplyDeleteGood one Grace - it does look like a pointillist painting!
ReplyDeleteI had to look up the "Poitillism" style...learned something new today...again! Lovely, just absolutely lovely photo! I would LOVE to be able to paint something like that...but would also love to have that photograph framed and hanging in my house! Great job - have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is sort of Seurat-ish. Was there a rippleism as well as pointillism? Georges didn't go in much for reflections, though.
ReplyDeleteVery nice reflection and it does make me thing of a painting.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it DOES look like Pointillism! Good catch, Grace!
ReplyDeleteyes! like a painting!
ReplyDeleteYour kind visit adds an irreplaceable element to my day: YOU!
Thanks pal

I really have little time now. I'm sorry that I was not longer on your blog. Have you missed me on the blog. Thank you for your comment. Refugees in the photos that you often regret. I hope to find a new world and life. The life which is common in civilized democratic countries. I wish you a nice second half of the week. / Peter.

ReplyDeleteBonza reflection photo, what i like about it is ripple effect :-).
ReplyDeleteBelle photo impressionniste ou pointilliste, en effet ! 35°? I'll stay in the water all day! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood pic.
ReplyDeleteI think more impressionist, but it is certainly beautiful. And I agree with 'ciel' about staying in the water.
ReplyDeleteWow. Beautiful reflection.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean, and a lovely post it makes Grace. Back to 12C and wet here ;-(
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot!

ReplyDeleteLovely photo Grace!
ReplyDeleteI see it! A fantastic reflection. :)
ReplyDeleteThis reflection is so beautiful, fantastic colors.
ReplyDeleteI have tried painting a little in a pointillism style. It is tough.
ReplyDeleteThe kind of picture that gives me the desire to try to paint..
ReplyDelete35°?! fffff....Already far too hot!
though not familiar with paintings, but tnx to you, I learn something today. ^0^
ReplyDeletethe reflection just looks calming and soothing.
I like this a lot...looks like an oil painting (whatever else one might call it). Great colors and dramatic light. It will be 88 degrees F here today. We just finished the 4th warmest March on record. The lower 48 states were 8.6 degrees above normal for March!
ReplyDeleteFabulous shot Grace. I love to when there is no wind and it is possible to get captures like this. I am really over this hot weather though. Role on winter....Hope that you had a wonderful day and enjoy the rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Andrew, It's a beautiful shot, and the urge to turn it upside down is strong :)
