Super powers of the tinted glass..

and then wears dark glasses to avoid being recognized'..  Fred Allen.

The above quote and the late Karl Lagerfeld's observation that 'sunglasses are like eye-shadow, they make everyone look younger and pretty' I'm sure would have astounded James Ayscough back in 1752 when he suggested tinted lenses might help some vision problems. Let's face it who hasn't resorted to a pair of dark glasses when they have to step outside feeling like a total wreck 😎 Aimee on the other hand just loves sunglasses.. boats at Hillarys Boat Harbour reflected in her latest pair :) Happy Weekend, take care and stay safe..

    What a fantastic photo! I love it. I wear sunglasses quite a lot here in this sunny state and while I have 3 or 4 pairs, I always wear the same one. I guess it's my favorite.

    i can't wait for the sunglasses to come back. for the moment here, it's not too bad, but you can already feel that winter is coming to an end. enjoy the nice weather (but it seems that it's always nice at home) and i wish you a good weekend ...

    Love that photo. I have a theory, which may or may not be based on anything true or relevant, that as I have dark eyes and (light) olive skin, my eyes "need" sunlight. Hence sunnies are for driving, for me, to cope with The New Zealand sun glare.

    Oh, shame on me. My Brother made sunglasses for me but I simply HATE how they change the colours.
    I am aware I should wear them, especially in your place, but, awwww, nooooo, the colors, the "real" colors are gone then!
    I´m so naive I think 5 1/2 weeks every two years are OK without them. No?
