It's true! Behind the clouds the sun is still shining. Who would have thought the night before I took these shots, when thunder was actually rattling my windows, that Friday would be so perfect.. chilly, but perfect! A window table at the Indiana always provides wonderfully framed vistas out to sea and along Cottesloe Beach. Coffee, cake and beach views.. makes me happy! Looks like the sun is back.. at least for a few days. Hope you are having a fab weekend, happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..
Quite a day to be out on the water!
ReplyDeleteLovely sea...and wonderful light effects in the second photo! Arianna
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place, great shots.

That's the Perth I've grown to love. Beautiful views. Speaking of thunder, we had our share last night. It started around 10 PM and rattled the windows and lit up the sky until after midnight. I loved it.
ReplyDeleteCoffee, cake and BEACH views how can you go wrong! Enjoy your sunshine too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place, Love all pics.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite 1st pic.
That is the blue we usually see from you, Grace! Enjoy the nice weather - it is lovely here today too!
ReplyDeletePerfectly framed beach photo. The surfer brings your photo into scale. Winter can not be too bad if the surfers are out. Have a great Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThe beach looks perfect! Wish I could be there too. Currently doggysitting TessaDog for the weekend and we two old ladies (me and the dog) are staying in the AC as it's very hot out there. 28C, yes I know that's not really hot but we don't like to get burnt. Tessa would like the beach too.
ReplyDelete...it was worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view on a beautiful day. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe buoy looked much further out when we were there. Perhaps it was high tide. Seemed to be a bit of thing to swim out around the buoy and back again.
ReplyDeleteIncredible - Where Did I Set My Coffee

ReplyDeleteWhat a great spot and a spectacular view. Coffee and cake sounds like the perfect accompaniment.
ReplyDeleteoh beautiful beach! reminds me of Takapuna beach on Auckland's north shore when I was growing up. Looks like an awesome view from those windows.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm happy the sun is out this weekend even though it's quite chilly.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday Grace.
There is nothing like a big, blue sky Grace. Hopefully not too long before they turn up here.
ReplyDeleteNice use of the wide angle lens.
ReplyDeleteHello Grace,
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots.
Great to see the sun on that wonderful location on the beach. No bad place to stay.
Kind regards,
Marco
What a perfect frame for the beautiful beach shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat for a winter's day. It is always cold here in winter!!! Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteYour photos are terrific glimpses into the wonders of nature and the good life. I am so very adamant about preserving our own environment, which needs vigilant activists to monitor what is happening in DC. The sky in your top photo is lovely! Hope that you are having a wonderful Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI like the first shot!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it.
Your shots touch me today, G
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue skies! Friday here, we set a heat record, hottest day ever in my area.
