Dad's lil helper...

I spent some time at the garden centre this weekend and a lot of time in the jungle garden, I think this round is mine and if that sounds like a 'war of the roses' kind of battle:) that's because it is! I've always been a passionate gardener, there's something incredibly satisfying standing back at the end of the day surveying your hard work, but either my garden is getting bigger or I'm getting older.. let's go with the former :) The little fellow here was a delight bopping along after dad, I would have loved to hear what he was listening to through the almost too big for his head speakers. Such a little sweetie.. gotta love the big and small thongs :) Hope you had/are still having a fab weekend, take care and stay safe...

  1. Rest assured I would end up killing any plant in my care.

  2. I'm not good with plants, either. Neither is Mom, but she does a bit better than I do. Dad could make anything grow. I used to follow him around at the nursery as he picked the plants for our yard. I followed him around at the lumber yard, too...and at the automotive store....

  4. Garden season is nearly ending here as it starts there. I love gardening. Now that I'm in a house where I can enjoy it once again I am looking forward to 2018. Those are some really nice pictures Grace.

  13. A little strange, perhaps? I wonder about the risk of tripping and hearing impairment.

  17. The boy may have been autistic. Music is a therapy for them and keeps them calm. You are lucky to be able to garden. My back won't let me do it any more and that is one of the reasons we moved into a retirement village.

  19. Your garden is getting bigger, Grace :-)
If too big you can come and take care of our balcony, too, as I obviously have no green thumb.
Aaaand off to rescue some strawberry-plants!
