Fairy-tales can come true, it can happen to you
If you are young at heart, for it's hard you will find
To be narrow of mind, if you are young at heart...
The August theme for CDP'ers is'Young at Heart' and although I haven't been out with my camera for a week it was only a few days previous to that when I took these shots outside the Fremantle Markets. I think without doubt to put yourself out there in an attempt to entertain you absolutely have to be young at heart, fearless also :) If you zoom in on the faces in the substantial crowd you can see that the gentleman above performing with the Sail & Anchor as his backdrop is doing a sterling job! As for moi, in an attempt to bring back the joie de vivre I donned my pom pom beanie and headed out into the wild weather, it was exhilarating after being cooped up for a week! Thanks for all the good wishes, apart from the desire to sleep all the time :) I'm feeling so much better. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. BIG catch up today!

Glad you're out and about again, PDP. A week indoors is a long time!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you're ready for Theme Day, even if CDP isn't. I hope you're having a full recovery. I'm sure the pom pom helps. Stay warm and dry.
ReplyDeleteYou sure need to be fearless.
ReplyDeleteFine musical note for theme day. I believe you have got it.
ReplyDeleteThe pom pom beanie does give a cheerful air. Glad you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteWonderful you´re back, Grace, awww, I had such a beanie as a kid, also. In red-white, maybe from Switzerland (where we got our "special onesies" from our Aunt, too - and those winter-indoor-shoes).
ReplyDeleteAs for the theme... 'Young at Heart' sounds beautiful, but I nearly turned deaf there!
Guess I´m old around my ears, LOL - since very early childhood, too - with my Dad having been an audiologist ;-)
Can´t wait to come back, though (Sail & Anchor, yum!)
So glad that you are feeling better. Love that building it is gorgeous. It looks a bit wet there though so please keep dry. Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better. It takes a special kind of young at heart to do this! And, I have great admiration for those choose to do it!
ReplyDelete...shot three looks familiar!
ReplyDeleteGood one for the theme! Looks like it must be cold there, Grace! Looks like an outfit I would wear in winter - all black & a red scarf!
ReplyDeleteFun shots! Looks like we've got something of a similar take on the theme, Grace, as my post for tomorrow is along the same lines as my month ender- performance.
ReplyDeleteGood that you're feeling better.
Great rain picture!
ReplyDeleteThat attractive pom pom is facing the wrong way!
Fantastic Rainy Window Photo But Damn Do I Ever Appreciate The Osprey Photo!!! Take Care And Stay Creative.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Welcome back from sickbay. Excellent photo for the monthly theme. Now take it easy before you dive in. :)
ReplyDeleteGood that you are feeling better. That building looks like one in St. Augustine, Florida and one in the French Quarter of New Oleans.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you are better. I will refrain from a beanie comment. Unrelated, what weather you have been having, and not in a good way.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you're feeling better Grace. Nice photos of the Fremantle market. I agree you have to be fearless to perform in front of a crowd!
ReplyDeleteNice post. Loved all pics.
ReplyDeleteI love you beanie, you must feel much better with it to be out again.
ReplyDeletePerforming before an audience is always an act of courage, too. You self-photo today fits perfectly for next month's theme. What foresight you have! Pleased that you are feeling better and what colour is more perfect than red to lift your spirits?!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI think of you as young at heart, G. Wishing you well, dear! <3
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! That must have been a truly nasty bug. Glad you're back in the world.
ReplyDeleteThe last one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! At first glance at the first two photos, I thought it was New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteThe sight of boats and water and happy people (and a warm hat) have made you well. Yay!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you're feeling better, Grace.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the rain on the windshield.
I think this is one of the most significant information for me.
ReplyDeleteAnd i’m glad reading your article.
But should remark on some general things, the web site style is perfect,
the articles is really great : D. Good job…
