Sitting in a cafe on the Hay Street mall the reflections in the window of T. Sharp & Co, dealers in 'writing instruments and fine gifts' were ever changing, the only thing remaining stationary in the background was the Town Hall. The lady in the white dress below giving a clue to the warm weather on that day...
... the man below carrying the UGG bag must be a tourist.. it's not going to be cool enough for UGGs around here for quite a while :) Would you wear UGGs, sometimes I think they look kind of cool and other times not so much! Hope you have a fab weekend, take care and stay safe...
fascinating reflections and great to watch all the activity going on
ReplyDeleteFascinating reflections they are indeed!! And what terrific captures for the day, Grace!! You do find some of the best ones!! I hope you enjoy a fun, beautiful weekend!! Take care and stay safe!!
ReplyDeletegood idea
ReplyDeleteA lot to see in these interesting reflections. The first time I saw UGG boots was in one of our upscale stores...I had no idea what they were, but I thought UGG was a strange name and too close to "ugly." :))
ReplyDeleteVery clever photos; but I expect no less! I have no idea what UGGs are and obviously prefer the shot with the white dress... (don't tell, will you?).
ReplyDeleteDo folks write anymore?
ReplyDeleteGrace, I love the multilayered look of store window reflections. These are great. Hard to tell what is inside and what's outside. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteSometimes reflections can really fool the eye. Cool photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the challenge of deciphering the different layers in these photo! So much to see!
ReplyDeleteThere's almost too much to see! They are great!
ReplyDeleteCool! Now THAT'S the kind of shop I could spend some time in.
ReplyDeleteA good spot for reflections!
ReplyDeleteI always associate UGGs with someone who has badly bleached hair and their hand clutching a packet of Winfield Blues but then I have seen our famous media bearded neighbour wearing them in the lift with his pyjamas. Given you wrote UGGs, I guess you know why they are not called Ugg Boots.
ReplyDeleteI really love seasonal displays and decoration.

There are certainly a lot of reflections to ponder in these photos. I love the white dress but, the UGGs not so much. I supposed if I was really cold, they might be appealing.
ReplyDeleteFascinating shop - would love to wander in. What about todays weather then? Sparkie out jumping puddles. Super reflections, BTW!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a complicated reflection, so much to see.
ReplyDeleteOi. Thanks to Ingo I was glued to that shop more than once, Grace! He never walked in, though, phew. That ole writer, huh? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo, I would nor wear UGGs. Not unless I have a (real) pet-sheep!
Great reflections .
ReplyDeleteA lot of festive things...
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty reflections Grace!
ReplyDeleteSo much happening in these scenes. The reflections are magical.
ReplyDeleteNice reflections! I like the play of what's inside with what's outside.
ReplyDeleteYour reflection shots are always intriguing!
