I guess it's all relative right! It was about 15C :) which for this time of year in Perth is a most welcome and unexpected cool change in temp, there was even rain.. oh joy my favourite kind of day, with the possibility of more today, bliss! Knowing it was going to be a busy day Aimee and I decided to stoke the furnace with a hearty breakfast at Voyage Kitchen (check that menu, so good) along the coast road five minutes from home, have never had a disappointing meal there yet.
Above, we weren't the only peckish people participating :) The outside area is popular with dog walkers overcome by the need for coffee and sustenance.. not yesterday, it was bleak, breezy and deserted! Hope you are enjoying your weekend, take care and stay safe.. p.s. who agrees that if you're going to eat out.. breakfast/brunch is the best!
Hey, I wish I could bring you to Portland -- it is GRAY, pouring rain and expected to continue the same for ten more days!!!! Of course, the weathermen are frequently wrong, so there's always hope for a change!! But it has been like this already for several days!! Oh, well, I don't rust!! Hope you have a great weekend, Grace!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteFascinating. It's been gray and gloomy here the past couple of days; very unusual. Not much rain, though. I do agree that the best meal out is breakfast. It's been a long time since I've felt we got our money's worth when eating other meals in restaurants. There are two exceptions in Ocala: An Italian restaurant and one Mexican restaurant. The others...well, mediocre, is a nicer way of saying what I'm thinking! :) Try to stay dry!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cosy, welcoming place and very popular. So far on my peninsula, we have not seen too much warmth and sunshine. But we are hoping. It would be nice if winds eased too.
ReplyDeleteThe food must be good if it's that busy inside! And I agree, having lunch outside is good :)
ReplyDeleteYou're making me hungry for breakfast at dinner time!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain...
ReplyDeleteLucky you with that stormy weather. I'd like to have some of that here as long as it doesn't get too cold. That does looks like quite a yummy place to eat.
ReplyDeleteTea . . . or coffee and conversation. Great combo.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Brunch is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteLooks so busy it must be good, I've checked the menu, order me a Voyage farm yard breakfast please I'll be right over...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, my cool kitty!

Brekky or brunch is fine by me. Talk about 'climate change'!! 19C here (coldest day in December for 50 years. Adelaide is supposed to be 41C today.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast/brunch is my favorite too, but I will eat out anytime!
ReplyDeleteYour hangout looks like loads of fun, Grace.
ReplyDelete15 and wet in December? But it looks very inviting inside. Weirdly warm in a lot of the US, 11 and sunny here today.
ReplyDeleteOh boy that doesn't look like Australian weather, more something I see all the time here too. There are many people having a brunch overthere, must be a hotspot.
ReplyDelete15C sure is cold, Grace, not so much better than our 9C... But sure the right temp for a Gourmet Beef Burger, I´d say :-)
ReplyDeleteNow I´m hungry!
Gee, I'm thinking 15° sounds rather WARM. ;) But "stoking the furnace" is almost always a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI love going out for brunch...and this looks like a good place to do it!
ReplyDeleteLooks and sounds like a good place for power breakfast! Keep warm and enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove this weather! Even if it's only short lived it's so good for our garden and nice to wear a cute scarf again. Best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful festive season x
ReplyDeleteAny meal at a good restaurant makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteThe place looks busy.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool here, but we're overdue for some proper snow!
Looks a fun place whatever the temperature ;-)
ReplyDeleteI liked it at first sight!
ReplyDeleteBrunch is best!
ReplyDeleteCold? Perhaps cool!
