The Orchid Flower..

The tenacity of plants to grow and survive in the most difficult.. almost impossible circumstances is a mystery and a wonder.  While walking along a bush pathway thick with a heavy layer of eucalyptus leaves.. a little flash of colour, zooming in there the tiniest, most delicate wild orchid pushing it's way through to meet the light. I've always believed that you can't judge strength and determination by size and nature proves me right often. I hope that you've had or are still having a wonderful weekend, take care and stay safe..

  5. Good onya for spotting and praising the little flower. And you know what? The same thing happened here in the Negev. My grandkids found those same flowers pushing up through the dry leaves in the eucalyptus grove in the wadi!

  9. Time for macro when you see something like that, we don't have anything like them but there are many tiny over looked flowers even in the dead of winter.

  11. You could find a metaphor in this. Life can find a place to thrive almost anywhere on this planet.

  18. I can't keep an orchid plant alive in a pot and here one is growing in the wildest conditions. Another reason for me to let nature handle the plant growing business.
