The tenacity of plants to grow and survive in the most difficult.. almost impossible circumstances is a mystery and a wonder. While walking along a bush pathway thick with a heavy layer of eucalyptus leaves.. a little flash of colour, zooming in there the tiniest, most delicate wild orchid pushing it's way through to meet the light. I've always believed that you can't judge strength and determination by size and nature proves me right often. I hope that you've had or are still having a wonderful weekend, take care and stay safe..
Who would think such a beautiful flower would grow amidst those dried leaves...
ReplyDeleteNature is just so amazing!!!
Oh my God! So small and beautiful! Your macro is like a poster! Well what do i say now? Goodmorning? Here is evening.
ReplyDeleteI love eucalytpus, but I don't think I've ever actually seen anything but a cutting.
ReplyDeleteFantastic!! And how wonderful that you were able to get such terrific captures!!! Amazing that you even saw these!! Thanks for sharing the beauty! Great start for my morning!! Have a great new week!
ReplyDeleteA delicate beauty!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful.
ReplyDeleteExcellent spot!
ReplyDeleteGood onya for spotting and praising the little flower. And you know what? The same thing happened here in the Negev. My grandkids found those same flowers pushing up through the dry leaves in the eucalyptus grove in the wadi!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely find!!! Good eye!!!
ReplyDeleteLa vie est tenace, il suffit d'y croire et se battre. Beau poste Grace et un grand message :)
ReplyDeleteI am amazed you ever saw it, but what a lovely wee orchid, it deserves to be bigger.
ReplyDeleteThe power of nature!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little thing. I do hope it doesn't get (accidentally) stepped on.
ReplyDeleteTime for macro when you see something like that, we don't have anything like them but there are many tiny over looked flowers even in the dead of winter.
ReplyDeletePretty colours among the monochrome of the leaves.
ReplyDeleteNature finds a way....
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty.
ReplyDeleteYou could find a metaphor in this. Life can find a place to thrive almost anywhere on this planet.
ReplyDeleteWell spotted!

Well noticed; most people would have walked past or, worse still, trodden on it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful flower! Nature is really amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe nature... very delicate!
ReplyDeleteWell seen, I must say!
I wonder if I would have spotted that. Hmmm. Good eyes, Grace. Truly nature's tenacity is amazing, such a tiny plant pushing up into the path.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful find. And I love your zoom-in sequence.
ReplyDeleteI can't keep an orchid plant alive in a pot and here one is growing in the wildest conditions. Another reason for me to let nature handle the plant growing business.
ReplyDeleteFrom death, comes life. Oh yes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find. Awesome orchid!
ReplyDeleteAgain, just like our snowdrops - amazing how nature always finds its (mostly) beautiful ways! Wonderful shot, Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere there is a will, nature will find a way.
ReplyDeleteThat was an awesome and uplifting find Grace. Lovely photos of the orchid.
