Ducky Divas & Goosey Lucy!



There was much preening and fluffing of feathers amongst this group of Pacific Black Ducks as they prepared themselves for the photo shoot :) the iridescent speculum and bright blue beaks were star features. The goose below looks as if he/she is testing the temperature of the water, deciding perhaps he/she might fly instead of swim! Taken in Neil Hawkins Park. Busy day in the jungle yesterday, catch up today.. Bon Weekend, take care and stay safe...

  4. Makes me think of the days when Collin was a little boy. Mom and I used to take him to the park near our house to feed the ducks there.

  16. What a wonderful photos you made of the ducks Grace. They have such bright colours blue we never see here. The males have some colours but not so clear and de females are always brown.

    The first picture with the ducks is amazing, technically speaking... You aced it : the color bands on the ducks looks stunning.
