Angel in a business suit!

They do say one way to spot a vampire :) is if they have no reflection in a mirror.. I wonder, does it work the same way for angels. When in the city on Monday I caught the reflection of a business man, but in the reflection he is minus his wings! I inverted the colours to protect his identity, angels must remain anonymous to carry out their good work. I actually do believe there are people in this world who through their compassion and good-will can rightly be called angels and this man may well be one of those people but the explanation for his angel wings is a little more simple. The work of US artist Colette Miller, you can read about her 'angel wings' concept here.. must get Aimee to do a bit of posing for me :)  Happy Wednesday, take care..p.s. just a little ironic, or perhaps planned, that the wings are within sight of the Basilica :)

  5. Dear Grace I tried to translate my words in English language by my translator and it worked. I'm angry with Blogger.... I don't understand because some people can't translate my comments.
Here it's the translation of my post:
I took these photos during the return flight from Lofoten aboard the twin-engine turboprop of Wideroe.
Your shots are gorgeous. Wish you a nice Wednesday. Kisses from Italy.

  22. Love it -- especially with the men in business suits. The concept wouldn't be the same with women in dresses, would it? Clever, indeed! Well done.

Angels can take human form. They can also appear as animals.

  30. I love the interactive aspect of Colette Miller's concept.
The shot you caught is a wonderful one. Do you think the man ever realised he was standing in front of the wings or was it purely coincidental? He looks completely engrossed in his phone call.
