Seen on the wall of Santa Fe Restaurant & Tequila Lounge in Subiaco. The impresionante new mural and sign art is the work of urban surf artist Fieldey, wonderful colour, check out her fabulous surfboard art here. I didn't realize until I walked down Hay St. in the City to Surf on Sunday.. and no Jack I didn't win, but there were only about 30,000 in front of me :), how much there is to see along the way, you miss so much when driving oui! Happy middle of the week Wednesday, take care ..
Quite an imposing looking design by Fieldey!

ReplyDeleteTequila! The stories I could tell you...
ReplyDeleteI could tell a few too... This is fabulous. I want a Santa Fe bar in V. The same one!
ReplyDeleteTacos tonight, eh? That's great!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Grace! The mural, not the tequila!
ReplyDeleteThat mural is stunning. I love it! It would fit right in where I live.
ReplyDeleteOh and those chairs fit in so much as well - so beautiful, I love it colorful :-)
ReplyDeleteEspecially on grey days like these!
I got really sick on tequila shots once in my youth and the mere mention of it makes me a little queasy, but I do like the mural!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colors of the mural, especially the turquoise feather.

Tequila Sunrise...I used to love those!
ReplyDeleteGreat colorful place. I agree with you about walking. I like to walk or bicycle, because at that pace we can see so much more.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll bet you could have won if you weren't sizing up places for future photographs.
Think it's changed the name since I drank Margaritas there! Love the mural!
ReplyDeleteAll those colours scream "Mexico"! Great mural.
ReplyDeleteSome serious thought has gone into that design Grace.
ReplyDeleteImpressive, a very good art work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful mural this is, beautiful and with the orange background it looks even brighter.
ReplyDeleteTruly New Mexico. So eye-catching, love it!
ReplyDeletevery colored I like
ReplyDeleteForget the mural! Let's sample on of those 'Sunrises'. hahahaha Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great one!
ReplyDeleteReminiscent of Georgia O'Keeffe altho I don't believe that she was very much into cacti.
ReplyDeleteThis has the flavor of the southwest but with a twist. Are those bird feathers on the right side? Not something you'd see here. Which makes it all the more interesting. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural. You're timing is perfect.
ReplyDeleteBright, fun, and bright bright bright!
