Blueberry tart with yellow icing stars.. that's what I thought of when I saw the 'innards' of the daisy above, the grasshopper was a bonus.. as was the busy bee below. Two of the flowering plants bursting forth in my garden right now.. ah spring how I love thee! Have a wonderful Thursday, take care and stay safe... p.s. it's a wee bit of a worry that most things make me think of food :) p.p.s. taken today with my newish 25mm prime lens, must use it more!
Ah, spring! Yes, I wish that's where we are now instead of Ah, autumn, which just leads to ice and snow! The flowers are lovely as are the small visitors.
ReplyDeleteThat 25 mm lens is fantastic! The images are really good!

ReplyDeleteLovely shots. You're enjoying Spring now. We're heading into Fall and it's blueberry picking time in northern New England.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the heading, I thought it was about someone I knew. That aside, and more importantly, I love the photos - they are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am looking at a small tub of banana brownie ice cream and now I want blueberry tart. So so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to think of spring when you know where we are heading but we are now having the warmest temps we have had since June - summer in September! I love blueberries.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' it, especially as summer is beginning to wind down here.
ReplyDeletePizza Margarita, that´s what you made me think of, Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteNature... so dang beautiful - and creative.
It's spring where you are and the start of autumn here. When we get to winter, I'm heading to your half of the world!
ReplyDeleteSlightly alert at your subject line. Lots of little creatures in your garden then.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I do miss spring but, I'm glad you are getting yours started. Looks like your garden is going strong!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful close up shots.
ReplyDeleteYour new lens caught very sharp images, Grace. It looks like you have a winner.
