... Yes! Out and about on Sunday definitely on the agenda was a trip to Highgate a small but trendy/popular suburb close to the city to take a few shots of a pretty unusual marriage proposal! I've heard of many a unique setting for this momentous occasion.. under water, while skydiving etc. but it seemed most appropriate for Perth artist Fudge to seal the deal on a quiet side street with a bit of help from family and fellow artists. Love the little touches.. candles in jars, flowers in bottles hanging from the wall..
The bride-to-be was delighted even though.. P.s. there is no diamond :) As je préfère to keep both feet on terra firma this marriage proposal gets a huge thumbs up from moi. Knowing the transient life span of street art I wonder how many Bree's about town will lead their unsuspecting partners down Mary St. before it's painted over :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..
How romantic! I love it!!

ReplyDeleteNo woman is worth that much effort!
ReplyDeleteer, apart from you, obviously...
an unusual touch of romance!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! That is great. Say no and NO diamond:) Bribery:)
ReplyDeleteA very novel way to solicit an answer. A refusal would be devastating and embarrassing. I'd bet he kew the answer beforehand!!
ReplyDeleteI notice there was no 'maybe' box!
ReplyDeleteI guess Bree knows what she's getting herself into with this romantic artist.
Very creative.
ReplyDeleteQuite a creative proposal!
ReplyDeleteYou brightened our day by sharing it so beautifully, G!

Gotta love this! BTW, Gracie, when are you starting the 'Tour Guide' of Perths Murals? You must know them all by now.
ReplyDeleteYes, that occurred to me about any other Bree passing by with her boyfriend. I can imagine the scene as the non Bree Bree melts with the romantic love, and then he yells, it isn't me. I didn't do it.
ReplyDeleteRomantic? You bet. But you gotta love the truth in advertising about no diamond. Hey, he's a street artist; not likely to have big bucks. But she knew that already, Thanks, Grace, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteRomance is alive and well in Perth! Pity about the diamond
ReplyDeleteThis 'how to bowl' website is a SPAMMER! Delete it straight away, Gracie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful romantic mural.
ReplyDeleteAt that could not be put on the "no".
what shall we men do to conquer a girl ? no limits !
ReplyDeleteI like very much this post Grace, thanks for sharing :-)
A new way to be romantic! I like this very much !
ReplyDeleteI think she couldn't resist such an outstanding proposal!
ReplyDeletehmm not sure I'm a fan of these public displays of romance.
ReplyDelete... and ruined a perfectly good decaying brick wall. Sheeeeesh!
ReplyDeleteVery clever indeed.
ReplyDeleteWho ticked the box?
ReplyDeleteSeems a little excessive. What's wrong with, "How about it, then?"?
