This was as far as I could venture yesterday, into the kitchen :) Had my Covid injection on Wednesday afternoon, thought it was a piece of cake until Thursday mid morning, went downhill fast after that. Many have said they had no effects from the injection at all while others had flu-like symptoms, hot, cold, headaches, nausea etc. I fell into the latter group hence the simple pic of the tulips, they look a lot better than I felt :) What are some of your experiences re the injection? Happy weekend, take care and stay safe.. P.s. will be fine today, a few days of discomfort much better than the alternative..
congratulations on getting your vaccination. I found the first one no different than any injection, but the second one made me very very tired the next day. Mrs. M had no after effects. better than getting the virus though.
ReplyDeleteI got my first shot 2 weeks ago and had no side effects. I have to wait 12 weeks to get the second. I got the AstraZeneca vaccine. The flowers are very pretty to see. Have a great weekend, Grace.
ReplyDeleteHi Grace -I hope you are feeling better. I had a bit of a sore arm for about 24 hours. Almost the same as after a flu shot.
ReplyDelete...I'm sorry to hear about your side effects, take care.
ReplyDeleteYour photo looks great. Your bad feelings should be gone soon. They don't last long, so just take it very easy for a day. Drink fluids and get plenty of rest. Tomorrow should be better. Congratulations of getting the Covid vaccine. It is a disease to be avoided and a short negative reaction is a small price to pay for being safe.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your vaccination. I felt crummy after my first shot (Pfizer), but fine after the second one. Go figure. Hope you're back to 100% soon!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Time will tell for me.
ReplyDeleteMy injection site was sore for a few days. Better than the alternative though.
ReplyDeletehope you are well soon .. i will book the vaccine in about a week.. take care of yourself :) ew
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had such a reaction. I had a sniffle the next morning. R felt unwell for a few hours afterwards but was fine the next morning. Don't forget people, we are being vaccinated not just for our own benefit but society's too.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteWell, only in the morning I did not manage to eat my breakfast, felt nauseating but after a cup of coffee and some fruits, it went away quickly and I managed to drive one hour for my eye checkup.
Hugs,
Mariette
But be hooked up to respirator scares me, I'm glad I got my shot.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
The second pfizer made me a bit tired and irresolute for a day or two. Respirators are MUCH worse! Glad we are moving forward to a new time together, dear
ReplyDeleteWhy did you get the shot, Grace? Are you traveling to Sydney again? 😍
ReplyDeleteI will not get the vaccine unless they force me to. "Corinna" sure will have mutated when we´re allowed to come to Perth again, I´m not in the risk group and get side-effects always.
There is no logic here. Schools stay closed but you can get cm to the next customer at the grocery store. You even have to, due to the trolleys... 🤡 We´re in a circus.
Take care. I had a really violent headache after my first Pfizer jab, but is lasted only for 2 or 3 minutes. Probably my first headache ever. Second jab: nothing, just a sore arm
ReplyDeleteWell done, Gracie. Setting an excellent example. I was lucky to have no reaction even though I was nervous. As you so rightly state, better than the alternative! These days we can't just consider ourselves. x
ReplyDeleteSorry no effects whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteI only got a bit heavy feeling in my arm in the evening but no further complains!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had those yucky side effects. The only reaction I had was a very sore arm with the first shot. Nothing with the second. However, glad you got the vaccine!
ReplyDeleteWas that your first jab or second?
ReplyDeleteSorry Grace. I have heard that you will feel better soon. Tom and I had no reactions....but then ten days later I got a large itchy patch where I got the injection. It only lasted a few days. It’s all worth it. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteOh that's too bad. Lucky for me my first shot was okay, a bit tired after, sore arm, and I had to work the next day. My second one not a sore arm, but a slight fever, headache and so extremely tired the next day, but by the third (another work day) pretty much back to normal. Although for about a week I just felt way less than 100 %! Hopefully you'll bounce back quick! Plenty of liquids they say.
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky, we are still waiting here, it's all been slow as a wet week.
ReplyDeleteHope you get better soon Grace. We haven’t had the COVID injection yet. We were scheduled but had to postpone as we both caught a cold. It will be great when the majority of our population is vaccinated.
