Weather for ducks!

This was originally going to be my 'wet' image for yesterday's CDP theme day but the swan's derriere won out by a ruffled feather :) Paddling this way and that it always amazes me how ducks leave such a wide.. and quite photogenic wake behind them, it has to be all that furious paddling underneath the water.. the  small rain shower adding sploshes to enhance my pics, merci beaucoup to the weather gods! Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...

Answering your question.... he has to wait all month for his Bday cos it's on March 31.... and he lets us know every day through March that he's waiting very impatiently!

  4. You have confirmed the thesis that ducks swim in water which probably means that ducks like water. And water is wet. And it was raining. You did good!

  5. Very nice duck photos. We spotted quite a few ducks and geese during our travels, and we had rain too.

  12. It is an interesting wake and it is hard to imagine how its feet move underwater to cause the pattern.
