It's the same spot as my header shot but I was surprised to see when last in the city in the evening that the artwork had changed, now a couple of galahs that I'm sure you will recognise :) I like the idea that this perspective to the city could become an outdoor canvas for Perth artists, couldn't see a name on this one unfortunately.. will be watching this space!
Sydney here I come.. hopefully :) I'm kidding! The rational part of my brain says 'Grace, breathe it's all good', the stronger irrational part says 'eeeeeeek!' Are there any other white-knuckle fliers out there that understand what I mean? Take care and keep safe until I catch up with you next Thursday. Happy Wednesday and à bientôt ..
Wonderful shots, Grace. Just remind yourself: it's the safest way to travel. Enjoy the trip!
ReplyDeleteIt's all good, some of it's beautiful, and William is right! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty bird, Grace. Enjoy your trip and keep smiling! :)
ReplyDeleteNice birds. Enjoy your trip. Remember the birds love flying.
ReplyDeleteLovely parrot.
ReplyDeleteYou will be back Thursday.
You have done this a few times so I'm sure you will be fine Grace, enjoy your visit to Sydney and the family.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that the art will change, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fearful flier too but somehow manage to survive without having a breakdown. I alway make sure I have lots to read or watch movies for the whole flight - I never sleep just in case….! Crazy, eh?
Pretty birds for sure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip and your family.
You'll be fine, no worries.
Safe travels. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThose birds are so wonderful. Have a great time Grace , all will be going well and enjoy the family life!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised that piece of art has changed, but it is not a bad idea. Enjoy your family time in Sydney.
ReplyDeleteFine photos today. Love both the mural and the real bird. Grace, do NOT worry about flying. You are safer on an airplane than in your own living room.
ReplyDeleteI love those birds Grace! I used to be a white knuckle flyer, but I have managed to get better. I just try not to think about the flying and concentrate on all the wonderful things I will get to do and see when I get there. Have fun!
ReplyDelete...what a city of art.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful birds!
ReplyDeleteHave a good and safe trip, Grace!

ReplyDeleteJust remember, you can't be knocked over by a bus when you're up in the sky in a plane.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip, C U when U get back!
I love the night shots!
ReplyDeleteMy sister in law and her husband live in Sydney. Too busy a town for me though we have had some great holidays the flight are just too long and I have said never again! I don't mind flying but not for 26 hours!!! Hope all goes well and you enjoy. Have a great weekend, Diane
ReplyDeleteThe artwork by night light is so enchanting. The colours seem to glow so softly and appealingly. Enjoy your time with family.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit, Grace. My daughter is coming to Naples with her husband and two little girls on Friday.
ReplyDeleteI was a white knuckled flyer when I first began many decades ago. Once I realized that I had no control over what happened and it was a waste of emotional energy to tighten up, I started relaxing. Good thing, since I have flown a lot for years.
i'm right there with you...i absolutely hate to fly and every little noise and bump makes me think we are going down...i constantly look at the flight attendant's faces to see if they look concerned haha...safe travels, i know you will be just fine but i totally understand! have fun!
ReplyDeleteKeep the image of the beautiful flying birds and it will make you happy during the trip. Have FUN!
ReplyDeleteI'm not especially fond of flying either, but not because I'm afraid though. It's the hassle of getting to the airport, checking in, security screening, etc. If I didn't know that flying is by far the safest way to travel, I might be worried. Nice photos Grace!
ReplyDeleteI think I've found a bird of a feather in you. You seem to seek adventure and COLOR! Safe travels.
