St. Alban's Highgate.. Happy Easter.

I've been to Highgate and neighbouring Mt. Lawley many times, best mural hunting grounds in Perth :) I can't imagine why I've never spotted St. Alban's Anglican Church on the corner of St. Alban's and Beaufort St. before. Built in 1889 in the Victorian Romanesque style it was the first religious building designed by John Talbot Hobbs, see the original building here. I must admit I was rather taken with it, it looks so pretty surrounded by tall trees and shrubs and from the description of the stained glass windows here, I think it will be as delightful inside as it is out. I'm going back! How are you celebrating the Easter weekend? Fun family picnic times pour moi today, hoping it doesn't pick today to rain for the first time in ages, but if it does tomorrow you'll see a picture here of my mad famille dancing in the rain :) Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...
