French lace....

One thing became clear in the search for this months theme day shot, there are an awful lot of plastic cafe chairs around...there are others too of course, but I was looking for something that screamed out 'take me, take me'!! Regardez! I caught up with a friend last week and we had coffee and raspberry almond tarts at French patisserie Scents of Taste in Mt. Lawley, as you can see by the empty plates below they were tres scrummy, but that's another story, today it's all about the chairs! I can tell you that they came from StaxChairs here in Perth, they are called 'Lace',but whether they were imported or manufactured here is un mystère, they were the perfect 'quirky' touch for this popular petit patisserie! Happy Friday, take care.....Click here to view all participants of this theme day

  1. I am looking at the coffee right now thinking......I could go for a cup:) Pretty chairs. Sometimes that plastic is dangerous. I've sat on a couple and gone down a couple time because someone had bent them etc. They don't last long if you have a rough crowd:)

  2. Despite the hot color, the chairs could be lacy cool on a hot summer's day.
Pretty pictures. Glad you heard their "Take me!" cry.

  3. I think the chairs are very nice and interesting. Not sure I'd want them on our lanai, but I sit on them in a restaurant! :)

Saw an HGTV show last night where a young lady decided to move from Perth to Brisbane because Brisbane was more exciting and hip. From your photos I'd think that Perth was plenty exciting and hip! :)
