It's always been my view that there are certain subjects that one should steer clear of.. religion, politics and money being three of them..so all I will say at the end of state election day here in WA is that it matters not which of these words apply 'misconception or misperception' probably both, the chances of our re-elected government bringing home their promises is definitely less likely than these wonderful fishing boats in Fremantle harbour bringing home their catch! On top of that it was the most uncomfortably humid day, so in the words of Pink's 'Blow Me One Last Kiss' it's been a s... day! Oh hang on that cheered me up just watching the video, she's fabulous! Hope you had a better day than moi, take care. p.s. just one more thing, can you please go back home now Julie Bishop you're doing my head in haha!!
6:15am here. Fishing boats, cool. Larry Ellison's yacht is parked in my view here.....Enjoy your humidity. We have VOG today - yechhhh. Itchy throat, cough, headache. Lovely! Lol:-)
ReplyDeleteAloha' pal
That first shot is superb! You have a wonderful eye.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the other one.....
Clever commentary, Grace! The weather is s... here too. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou did not miss the point. Glorious spring weather here, Tshirt time!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with elections Grace is that no matter who wins or loses, a politician is always elected to office. And we know where that takes us...
ReplyDeleteAh, don't even get me started on elections and politicians!!! Our weather is not like yours, but it's still s--- here as well! Enjoy your weekend -- what's left of it!!
ReplyDeleteHa, looking at boats can lead you to thoughts you could not imagine! Politics? I think they are the same everywhere on earth, let's forget them!
ReplyDeleteVery good shots Grace
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
Elections rarely seem to bring about real change! It is +5˚C here and sunny so everyone is smiling. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like schip and love cruising but this is to primitive for me. Good pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Misperceptions and misconceptions are two things politicians promote unceasingly!
ReplyDeleteLove the boats, though.
I am far from fond of dabbling in politics in my blogging world! I don't want to taint my sense of freedom with political blah blah! Love the weathered keels of your boats!
ReplyDeleteBwahahahaha, "....go back home now Julie Bishop you're doing my head in..." Hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice boat picies Grace.
Surely there has to be a break with the darn heat soon!
It sounds like your candidate(s) didn't succeed in today's elections. Sorry. But, your photos are beautiful and the sky is blue. Deep breath, Gracie.
ReplyDeleteYou get the politicians you deserve. Can't remember who said that. I like the second photo the best.
ReplyDeleteDon't despair - the outcome (broken election promises) would have been the same whoever had got in, much as we'd like to believe otherwise!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm.... we are thinking along the same line. That being said I was able to swim away all the s*** of yesterday! Why oh why doesn't it rain!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent find.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are allright, this imuable wold. Fishmann will always existe.
ReplyDeleteNice photos. Ha,ha, in Switzerland, no sea.
Sorry about the election results but kudos on finding this boat to photograph! I hope the humidity eases up. I know how miserable that can be in a very warm climate.
ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds not well, I don't like humidity either. We had some snow again this morning and 1 degrees C....
ReplyDeleteI like that you stay away from politics and religion .....You can discuss the weather with me anytime and show me pretty boats......I am wishing a cool dry breeze your way....
ReplyDeletehang in there.
ReplyDeleteI love the boats, great article today!
ReplyDeleteHey, I just discovered "the Australian birds" in some facebook page that has lots of amazing pictures. I'm delighted by the sweet birds!
big hugs and a nice week ahead,
Leia
Neat image... in the heat near the water is the place to be.
ReplyDeleteWow that first image is brilliant, my fave colors...
ReplyDeleteYou are probably wise to stay away from potentially-explosive subjects, yet I think a good "argument/discussion is sometimes very stimulating . . .as long as there's no mis-perception.
ReplyDeleteClever find and capture! I would send you our Friday snow if I could! (And here I thought Spring was almost upon us, misperceptions indeed:)
ReplyDeletenow thats funny
ReplyDeleteUgh .. glad no politics and religion! Great image capture!
ReplyDeleteM.I.S. Perception sure wears blue well.
ReplyDeleteQuite a name for a boat!
