Parisian chic.....?

I think not..European grunge, maybe...!  but I'm almost 100% sure not Australian..(I did say 'almost', you can never be certain of anything these days!!), where ever she comes from, welcome! There's covering up and there's 'covering up', suncream is a marvelous thing, and although he gets marks taken off for not having a hat on, she might think about taking a leaf out of her companion's book and dressing down a little..with temperatures in the mid 30C's all week, this made me hot just looking at her.....! Well another week begins, how nice, but highly unlikely, would it be if just for a few days there were no disasters occurring around the world.  Have a peaceful Monday.....

  5. Well, it's still snowing here in Seattle and will be, so it seems, for the next week -- but then we all know about weathermen and their forecasts??? Anyway, an umbrella is the last thing I need!! Fun captures, Grace, makes you wonder what she looks like? is she in hiding? is she on someone's wanted list? Whatever, I can now wind down my day with a giggle! Hope your week is off to a great start!!

  7. Hmmm, not sure I would cope in jeans during the Perth summer - suffering for fashion isn't my thing! I'd be living in shorts like that dude in the background.

  9. It´s nice to see such a colourful umbrella! Or is it rather a parasol?

  11. Fashion and high style cannot be captive to weather! Sheesh! I'd say these are European tourists, probably French, who can't quite believe that there is weather so warm in their winter!

  12. Definitely a case of slip, slop, slap and wrap, Grace! Even here in Melbourne we are experiencing a return of summer with temperatures predicted to go up to the low 30s. The rain, however, has kept everything green!
    Great photos!

  20. You captured a real contradiction here Grace. An umbrella for sun protection yet dressed for winter it seems.

  25. Was she Asian? I have played golf in the summer with Asians who wear long sleeves and long pants (once a guy even had on a sweater!) when it's 40C outside. I understand wanting to protect from the sun. But as you say, there is suncream. :)

  32. Wouldn't mind being transported to some heat about now. No rain yet, but chilly, chilly weather. I'm such a whiner.

  33. Could be one for the Goths In Hot Weather blog. The parasol is for protection from the daystar.
