The first thing that came into my head when I saw these two up ahead last night was how perfectly aligned in opposite direction they were and what a great pair of bookends they would make. Well after that it was just too hard to resist having a bit of fun... oh come on, you know you would have done the same thing.....!! I'm off to see a French movie with mon ami Marie today..'The Women on the 6th Floor', I've heard that it's a huge hit in Paris, looking forward to it very much. I hope your Friday runs smoothly into the coming weekend.....
:) How wonderful a sight. Must feel great to have them around. Favourite French movie of mine: Les amants du Pont-Neuf.
ReplyDeleteA good Friday for you all.
Very cute bookends! Nice job on the photo! I really like these animals - they seem so exotic as I've never been close to one. Our relative, Pauline, who lives south of you, sent a picture just the other day of her grandchildren, I believe, and a young roo - a family pet. Delightful!
