City Daily Photo Theme.. Favourite photos.

The September theme for City Daily Photo bloggers around the world is favourite photo.. absolutely impossible to pick just one.  I love taking photos of Aimee when we are out walking, she has a macro inclination, the shot above made me smile because as she was taking a close up of some bug or another, there was one right on her finger, see it there, look at me look at me :) Below this is what living by the beach in Australia is all about.. life-saving and dancing in the sunset, we won't mention the sharks :)

Who doesn't love the colours of autumn 🍂

I couldn't leave the last one out, it was a magical moment on one of our country trips. Arriving really early in the morning the view from the lookout point down to Toodyay, one of my favourite county towns was a touch surreal, the town completely enshrouded in low lying clouds the highest point rising up like a mythical island in the sky. Really looking forward to seeing favourite photos of fellow bloggers. Happy 1st of September and first official day of Spring here in Australia.. take care and stay safe..

  1. Dearest Grace,
Well, Aimee's photo you took from her is priceless. That bug, indeed begging to be seen!
The autumn leaves with the perfect light are stunning and of course the enshrouded town.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  2. Yes, you are right ... it is impossible to choose from all the beautiful autumn photos! Maybe when the weather is gray with a lot of rain and all the leaves are withered and colorless ... then you could say that autumn is not beautiful! Right?
    Hugs from me! 🤗
P.S - When I went on vacation it was still the old blogger interface ... They started the change in America, now they have "hit" Europe ... It will get to you soon ... don't worry! LOL

  8. Very nice images, Grace. Bug macros are fun. I've been doing them for way longer than Aimee is old! Now I do a few, mostly wild flowers though if the macro mood hits me. Digital is just not as good as a goo Rokkor-X 100mm reversed for macro on an autobellows and a Minolta XK. Medium format is fun, too.

And I love Aimee´s hair color! Ocean: Yes. Colors of Autumn. No. Just indicates dark days and nasty weather is up soon, but I should try to enjoy the colors, you are right.

  21. I do enjoy autumn and everything about it, not so happy about most of our winter that follows it, but it has it's good points too. Love the dancer most of all, that capture declares happiness to the fullest!
