More to come..

Regular readers of PDP will recognise the sight above.. the newly opened Ritz-Carlton and The Towers at Elizabeth Quay and  just visible behind above and here below the Double Tree by Hilton. The cranes that dominated the skyline here for the past two years have gone!

But no wait, what is this I see! The cranes have transferred just a stones throw away to the other side of the quay and are beavering away en masse. I'm guessing by the presence of pile drivers used for deep foundations below something big is happening here.. I'll have to do some digging of my own to find out more :) Watch this space!  Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..

  10. That is one of the fascinating things about cities, all the cranes.

I accidentally deleted your comment on my blog (I did read it) and was going to say your family will be finding it cooler here now the rain has come. I can't quite believe that up in Katoomba this afternoon it is a complete white out from fog.

  13. Oh, boy, Grace. All will be like totally different just yet again when we come back, it´s crazy!!! There is really no use in putting a skyline sticker on your car anymore, LOL (Ingo still has one lying around here, now I understand why ;-)...)
