Enduring charmer..

This is how the coversation went on the way home yesterday. P 'wow look at the red Maserati over there', Me 'eh (uninterested)', but when we came up behind the Morris Minor 1000 the camera came up snap, snap, snap.. so much so that I think I made the driver a wee bit nervous, he must have wondered what the mad woman behind him was up to :) How adorable is it with it's wooden trim and actual door handle on the back, I love it..

Yup, still taking pictures.. not very good ones the road was bumpy :) Are you a Maserati or a Morris Minor 1000 type? You have to admit that car is cuuuute 🚗 Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..

  4. What, no picture of the Maserati? No interest in the Quatraport, but some of the 1960s Maseratis like the Sebring, or the 3500 GT are truly beautiful cars. But the Morris Minor is a really special car, especially the Estate Wagon which this is. Never see them here.

  12. It´s wonderful to start the day with a laugh, Grace! You´re brutally honest, poor P :-)
Great car, I agree, but woops, safety is my mind.
I remember the old times. My parents smoked in the car (all windows closed in cold temps), there were no seatbelts, once Mum had to brake real hard, I made it to the front and lost a milk-tooth.
Better have a happy Thursday today, right!

  13. Lots of "Moggie Minors" still around in England. I'll try to remember to photograph some as there are usually some at vintage car shows.

  16. I am a Morris Minor sort of gal. Sometimes I think we don't take enough photos of street/vehicle scenes. Those are the ones that will date the photos twenty years from now, unless of course you are admiring a MM today.....
