Summer beach markets are so lay-back, it's just too hot to get over excited about anything! You can tell by the general attire at yesterday's Markets by the Sea at Whitfords Nodes Park just a stone throw away from the beach, that the weather is warming up way too soon for my liking! I did make a start on my Christmas shopping.. also got pretty excited about my first naastie from Toast My Curry. Curry sandwiched in toasted naam bread, and if you pull the shot in and read the signage on the van you will see that not only did I have a delish brunch but it was all for a good cause too, I do love a win win situation! Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
Gosh these photos could have been taken in Honolulu. Why not meet me there in Feb and see, G?
ReplyDeleteThere ENJOYABLE photos! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks hot PDP. The trees are getting their leaves before Christmas. I don’t think I would ever be accustomed to that. I’d like to experience Christmas in the heat for once though.
ReplyDelete...our local beach would be more that breezy today.
ReplyDeleteNice post and pics.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
The folks do have that laid-back look for sure. Even man's best friends are laid-back. Looks like a lot of fun, even if it is hot!
ReplyDeleteQuite a number of people came out, I see!
ReplyDeleteThis looks fun and so enjoyable ...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Grace.
All the best Jan
Nice photos. Looks like a lot of fun for the people and the dogs. Keep eating for education.....
ReplyDeleteLovely dogs and w the summer! Arianna
ReplyDeleteThat naastie sounds good! The dogs probably thought it was too hot too!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that it is so hot. Warm is enjoyable but hot is not. It seems when your season changed it didn't take long to have the weather go to the extreme. Poor dogs must be super hot.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Monday and be cool. :)
Gosto destas festas ao ar livre.
ReplyDeleteUm bom Domingo.

A lot of people watching happening, and why not.
ReplyDeleteIt's an adjustment to think of "hot" and "Christmas" together. But even in your hemisphere it seems too early to turn up the heat. Naasties sound delish. I like Indian food but haven't heard of them before. We can get good naan. It sounds like something I need to experiment with.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time to me, with plenty of dogs and food!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of toast curry. But why not I like both
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Brown legs and sandals..... I noticed that before the dogs.
ReplyDeleteMust be the COLD making me do it opposite the normal way.
Happy new week, Grace!
That looks very laid back, shorts and tops, sigh... a world away from our weather.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that sounds all wonderful, Grace, the heat as well as the food.
ReplyDeleteSending you a cool breeze from the freezing, hungry self :-)
These are so nice Grace!
ReplyDeleteI do love curry so that sounds like a dish I would enjoy. It certainly does look like summer time has arrived where you are.
ReplyDeleteEverybody seems totally relaxed, what a nice and fun market to go to!
ReplyDeletei love going to these...today's special "naasties" caught my eye haha...don't know what that is but it has me curious!
ReplyDeleteSeeing the curry cart, it would be fun to do a photo study of food carts around the world. As for the weather, hot weather this early may be a sign of a hot summer to come. I hope not for your sake.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, going barefoot outside on the grass, I miss it already! How fun this must have been, and dogs galore too! My kind of day.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like great fun!
ReplyDeleteI love places like this. Street fairs, farmer's markets, beach markets, etc.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see a few Summer snaps. I haven't seen the sun in four or five weeks now.
ReplyDeleteI'am glad to read the whole content of this blog and am very excited.Thank you.
