Check it out! Didn't I say it was worthwhile sitting out and braving the winter chill while in Highgate.. not sure if I've ever seen so many side mirrors and lights on one scooter before :) Next time you have a spare 14 minutes make a cuppa and take a trip around the suburbs with the InCrowd Scooter Club WA, the rad bike above appears 3.22 minutes in.. nice work Bryan Jary very cool soundtrack! Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...
I've never seen one like that!
ReplyDeletewhat a great capture for us, G!
ReplyDeleteHa! Great shot. That scooter guy is more concerned with what's behind him than what is ahead. Perhaps that scooter can't quite keep up with traffic?
ReplyDeletehaha what a find!
ReplyDeleteWhat was he thinking? I want to look at myself or I am afraid to be followed!
ReplyDeleteOh that is funny!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he ever looks ahead
ReplyDeleteOh good grief! That's wild! The gentleman must be afraid someone's going to come up from behind and wipe him out on the tarmac! Of course, by checking out all those mirrors he's liable to wipe himself out! Great fun, though.
ReplyDeleteSomehow it reminds me of the old movies with the mods & rockers in England.
ReplyDeleteOf all the customized motorcycles I've seen at the many Bike Weeks here in Florida, I've never seen one like that. I think he is afraid of being followed!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! That is one amazing scooter. I just keep thinking about all the damage that could be done to it with one little tip over.
ReplyDelete"Mirror, mirror, on the bike, who is the fairest rider of them all?"
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit top heavy (wonder what the Harley Ds think of it!)
ReplyDeleteIn the case of him crashing, he could never argue about having blindspot when astride his seat.
ReplyDeleteAmazing
ReplyDeleteUnique, funny, crazy and one to remember:-)
ReplyDeleteWow, the mirror king !
ReplyDeleteImpressive, Grace !
Now that is truly... odd, Grace. On the way home from work today there was a little "moped" in front of me, fully packed guy barely reaching 80 km/h driving not only in the middle of the road, but to the left, so annoying!
ReplyDeleteAt the red lights I saw: No rear mirrors, that´s why he drove there - he has no idea if someone may overtake so he makes no room.
No idea if this was some kind of vintage so it was allowed... Guess I should send him over, no? ;-)
Wow, very impressive Grace, I wonder if he has the time to check out all those mirrors?
ReplyDeleteI hope he does a mirror check before he takes off. :)
ReplyDeleteHe see the road well! Arianna
ReplyDeleteThat is...a bit special.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a keeper, Grace.
ReplyDeleteThat's a LOT of mirrors!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, now that is one clever idea!
ReplyDeletecool! it seems a frame of the movie "quadrophenia".. very nice!! ew

ReplyDeleteAgeing mods? I prefered Rockers myself, the bikes were better.
