I never would have guessed when I first opened my eyes yesterday morning that it could transform into such a wonderful winters day. The heavens were grey and beaucoup de pluie was falling :) but a few hours later the clouds gave way to a pale blue sky and a perfect 16C day. We stopped in at Kailis Trigg Beach kiosk for lunch, 'twas a perfect day to eat fish and chips by the sea! The long glass window of Kailis restaurant is perfect for reflections, 'the double trouble' below is as close as I'll ever get to a selfie :) Happy Sunday, hope you're having a good weekend, take care and stay safe...
Ah just a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a selfie sort of guy either
ReplyDeleteCreative selfie, and it looks like a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteCan't hardly beat a day like that and I love your selfie!

A lovely day indeed! A nice creative and unique selfie!
ReplyDeleteI've said it before, Grace--I love your reflection shots, and your selfie is the best yet!
ReplyDeleteFish & chips! Brings back memories.
ReplyDeleteFish & chips! Brings back memories.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm craving some fish & chips and I have noticed a need place that has opened nearby. It is too hot here for them though - 28˚C and sunny!
ReplyDeleteNice! One thing I love about living in Florida: there can be dark, grey skies and a torrential downpour -- but, it will clear up it very quickly. Love it!
ReplyDeleteWe were in the car yesterday when we heard the Perth weather forecast, fine, sunny, 16. We looked at each other without a word needing to be said and I looked down at the car temperature indicator which said 6 degrees.
ReplyDeleteFish and chips...I would like on them when I would visit England. Americans just do not cook them to suit me....too greasy. It is hard for me to think winter, but this was a gorgeous winter day. Just look at all the reflections and the blue sky. Know you have a wonderful jaunt out and about. genie
ReplyDeleteGreat shots with reflections. Looks like a great day, and fish and chips just improves it.
ReplyDeleteQuite mild for winter! It's good to give your audience a peak at the photographer once in a while. And a seafood restaurant on a pier overlooking the water can't be beat. Makes me think of Seattle.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflections. I can't say 16°C is perfect.A bit cold for me and that is what it is here today but no sunshine. Come on summer, I say!
ReplyDeleteLovely sunny winter's light in your photos. My peninsula light and sun tend to be rather patchy. Hail yesterday left the ground look as if it had been dumped with snow. Love your reflection in the last photo.
ReplyDeleteOh to go down to the sea again....
ReplyDeleteWinter? 16C?
Mmmmm fish and chips, love it. Nice selfie of you!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a perfect day and fish and chips sounds like a great lunch. I haven't had good fish and chips since the last time I was in London. Love the "selfie".
ReplyDeleteGreat "selfie", Grace, and the reflection is beautiful, too.
ReplyDeleteI had fish and potatoe-salad in the canteen on Friday, comes close, huh?
Beautiful reflections Grace. And today (Sunday) it was even warmer, a perfect winter day!
ReplyDeleteI'll trade you for your beautiful weather. Been in the upper 30'sC and 90sF here with hight humdidity. Great reflection.
ReplyDeleteHELLO GRACE :)
ReplyDeleteI don`t have fish & chips very often, so I would have chosen the same. Nice selfie.
great reflections!
ReplyDeleteOh, great reflections, Grace, especially the last one ! :)
ReplyDeleteHey! Look at that babe!
