CDP Theme Day.. 'The Beauty of Simplicity'...

Before there were barbie dolls (1959) and electronic games there were clothes pegs, cat flaps (maybe) and aunt's willing to lie on the laundry floor at 6am in the morning playing 'throw the pegs in and out' :) A game requiring skill and concentration.. or not!

The theme for City Daily Photobloggers is 'the beauty of simplicity'. My granddaughter et ma fille are très belle and the game couldn't be simpler, so hopefully mission accomplished :) Very much looking forward to seeing simple, beautiful images from around the world .. Happy 1st of April, take care, stay safe and keep your wits about you on this day when jokers abound :)

  1. What a fabulous post! What could be more simple than the simple pleasures of a child. I totally forgot about the "jokers" aspect of April 1st. Thanks for the warning.

  5. So many games could be created with clothes pegs. Love this one using the cat flap. And your daughter is wonderful for joining in the young one's game.

  6. Clothes pegs, old sticks, some cardboard boxes and a child's (at least mine when I was a child) imagination will run wild. Simple things in life are so wonderful. Why do we clutter ourselves with digital stuff!? Sorry, Blogger will not accept the code for an interrobang.

  22. Aww, Grace. That reminds me of the big Niece who just took her first steps along chairs, handing me over one clothes peg after another, then looked over to my Mum, thought about it, took all her courage and made it over to her without falling - she was so proud of herself.
She had an ear infection, too.
You have me in sweet tears here...
