Too much colour.. no way! Created during Public2015 this vibrant mural in Bathers Beach carpark, the work of large scale mural collective Too Much Colour could not be in a more perfect spot. Think summer, fun in the sun, harbour, fish & chips, ice-cream, thousands of visitors.. catch my drift :) Bathers Beach House in the background below with it's art deco flourishes is one my favourite buildings in the harbour. I took these shots two weeks ago in Fremantle, our skies have been 50 shades of grey the last few days.. I like it a lot! Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe.. p.s. I know it's Wednesday, or Tuesday depending :) but hopefully not too late to link to MM!
Very whimsical, Grace, and great, vibrant colours!
ReplyDeleteMight make me think twice about stepping out onto the beach. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are all such FUN, Grace!! I would always love being surrounded by color and giggles and these have both!! Hope your week is going well!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteOh thanks Grace. I was battling against my craving for ice-cream!!! The colours are great and I love that fish!
ReplyDeleteThere's no such thing as too much color!
ReplyDeleteThey are great fun and not too much colour at all. By the way, I see you spelled colour our way. I thought that Australia used the American way? Or is it a mixed bag, some do, some don't?
ReplyDeleteThe colours in the mural look fabulous against that sky, Grace! Love the fish too!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Not too much color! At first I thought the top picture was a dog, then I decided that it was human and then I concluded that sometimes humans and their pets begin to look alike after awhile and thus it really doesn't matter whatever it was that I was discussing...have a nice day. Whew! Glad that's off my chest.
ReplyDeleteThere is never too much color or ice cream. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tom, never to much ice cream or colour unless it's a b & w photo of course, fab stuff Grace..
ReplyDeleteIndeed, not too colorful at all! The brighter the better right! It's still Tuesday here, and I'm sure you're still okay! Glad I caught this, what a fun place to swim!
ReplyDeleteDo all Aussie men have eyebrows like that and noses that look like strawberry ice cream? Maybe a bit too much XXXX or VB.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant work well captured!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! The more colour the better!!!
ReplyDeleteOhoh.. its's really a peculiar mural with lots of colors, truly nice. But I don't know if I would like this being front of my window.
ReplyDeleteLove it. You can never have too much color.
ReplyDeleteI am with you Grace. The colours jump right of the wall. Just the way it should be.
ReplyDeleteI love the fish. He looks like he's desperately trying to get away from the lug with the ice cream cone. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking about my leg. Yes ... I broke it in a fall. Just the fibula. Not too bad. I shall be up and about in no time.
ReplyDeleteA nice Wednesday Mural :) I have eaten many icecreams the past days, but our heatwave has finally finished now and we can breath again.
ReplyDeleteThat mural certainly catches your attention. Think I'll go and fix myself and ice cone :).
ReplyDeleteIce cream on a cone. Now that's summer!
