But really at anytime of the year Kings Park is a wonderful family destination for picnics, exploring little nooks and crannies, the views across the sweeping lawns are spectacular. I have taken some shots of one or two of the many memorials scattered around the park which I'll post another time. Meanwhile it's been a super relaxing long weekend, back to normal tomorrow, I hope your week is heading in the right direction (?), take care and stay safe.....

Beautiful flowers. A wildflower festival sounds really nice!
ReplyDeletesympathique ce parc et sa fete
ReplyDeleteBonjour dear Gracie,
ReplyDeleteBy the way, is the correct to say "Gracie"or"Grace"? :)
What wonderful Spring there, I'm envious because this year the Spring here in Lux was so weird, with rainy days...wind and so on. Lucky you, the weather there looks great! Your pictures are beautiful postcards, thanks for sharing!
hugs
Léia
That little fellow steals the (florable) show! (Which looks hilariously adorable!). I love the idea of a wildflower festival, one can't ever tire of flowers :) I'd also love to just sit there all day and soak up that beautiful light - hope it was a restful long weekend!
ReplyDeleteNice pics of a lovely public park! The "footy" boy is cute, but the pic I like best is the young lad at the edge of the fountain pool. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI do so envy your seasons now since you have the beauty of wildflowers. Even tho our falling leaves are vivid and bright, I dread what follows. Enjoy the season in Perth!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful park and what a great place to go and be able to take photos of lots of people! I love it!! And your photos are terrific! I do love the young ones! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI wish that it was springtime here. Such lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteFröhlicher Bericht, bunt und frisch...
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß

A lovely area! The wildflowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooking at all this beauty on the first October is so sad for us!
ReplyDeleteSeeing these pictures makes me want to change continent.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking, well, so....springlike! Ah, isn't spring wonderful?
ReplyDeleteGreat images!
ReplyDeleteHi there stranger:) I'm sorry I was gone for awhile. Hiking over the weekends has limited my time on blogger and I so do love the great outdoors. The cooler weather makes me smile and you??? Spring is in the air. Your shots remind me of our spring here.....warmer breezes but without that winter chill. Really perfection with lots of plant color and happy people. Beautiful. But it's still 100 degrees here!!!
ReplyDeleteThis brought back wonderful memories Grace, almost a year ago to the day that I was exploring Kings Park. One must spend at least half a day there to see it all and oh, what a wonderful Gift Store!!
ReplyDeleteGood flower shots and here in The Netherlands, the winter will start soon.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Looks wonderful, fabulous views too. Seeing the massed wildflowers at the Olympics site made me realise how spectacular they can be, so this must be wonderful. I think I might like that show too, especially if I could take my granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteSpringtime!
ReplyDeleteSpring is coming in your country, dear Grace. I like very much your shots and colors. A big hug from Italy.
ReplyDeleteErika
Oh wonderful environment you live in !
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Tuesday.
Great scenes of Spring.
ReplyDeleteOK, put Kings Park on the list for when I visit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to visit! Wish I could say I would get to Perth someday...thinking that is not going to happen...but it would be lovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a place that I would enjoy! I think spring has arrived in Perth.
ReplyDeletesci-tech and sweet old reliable flowers. You are a delight!
ReplyDeleteAloha from Honolulu,
Wishing YOU the Best

Great shots. The festival sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful park with views of the city and the sea. Throw in a carpet of wildflowers and what more could you ask for? Wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the sunshine was glorious over the long weekend. How nice to see the parks and people bathed in its golden glow. Hopefully one day I will get to Perth for wildflower season.
ReplyDeleteLe printemps est vraiment de retour chez toi! Nous nous croisons, Gracie...
ReplyDeletewhat fabulous light ... the colors are bloomin' beautiful ...
ReplyDeleteTo me this looks like a perfect place!
ReplyDeleteYou advertise it so well.
Kings Park is impressive, but that little tacker is a champ in the making. So focused.
ReplyDeleteSo bright and colourful! Just as parks ought to be!!
