Alfresco That Way..

Spotted while driving through Nedlands a few days ago.. how is it possible that I've missed this super fab mural on the wall of Lawley's Bakery Cafe. Painted back in 2017 by Perth artist Ariel Katzir. Using the contrast between dark and vibrant colour the artist 'fascinated with uniform lines, geometry and the human form, curiously incorporates these elements together, which create artworks that give the ability to see things from her creative perspective'. Thank heavens for that creative perspective, without it life would be so terribly dull 💛

Oh and if you go to the loo there's a bonus treat.. so cool! Hope you are managing to stay sane in this crazy world, happy Tuesday, take care and stay extra safe..

  5. I super love the fact that the artists fused in different styles but remains consistent as to what style is assigned for each element. And the color Grace, I adore yellow and black! As a Harry Potter fan, I believe I am part of the Hufflepuff house which makes these two colors very special for me. Stay Safe Grace sending hugs to Perth!

  9. I love how the yellow totally jazzes up what could've been a black and white wall, it's very eye catching.

  16. LOL, I almost posted this one too Grace, it's one of the murals I realized I hadn't posted it. I often see it when I go (used to go) to movies at the Windsor in Nedlands with 2 of the Drs that work at the clinic. One of them lives that way too. It's a great and funny mural, thanks for participating.

My surgery has been pushed ahead two weeks ☹️

  18. It would be so dull, and so would our posts be without all this creative-ness waiting to be discovered. Bakeries seem to always be good for artful things too. Thanks for this uplifting post.

  19. What a great way to tell people they can't use the toilets unless they spend some money in the cafe. While I almost never use toilets when I am out, if I do at cafe, pub wherever, I buy something. Of course this is all past tense now.

They are nice and lively murals.
