Susceptible to suggestion!

How long can you hold out and what is your temptation! After a successful week of no carbs, no chocolate, lots of walking.. I saw this sign.. merde! (sounds better in French oui)! That was it.. that 's all it took to fall off the wagon :)  How about you, are you super susceptible to suggestion? Happy chocolate filled Thursday take care..

  1. This is really a good photo. I have to send this to my sister. She will love this :) I can be susceptible to suggestion sometimes. Depends from whom the suggestion comes.

  2. I'd say, no. But that probably doesn't explain the bag of Ghirardelli chocolate on my kitchen counter. :-)

  3. I love chocolate, and I cannot often refuse to eat it. And it shows!
    Lovely photo.

  4. Oh, I could have lived on chocolate for years -- when I was younger, but the older I get the less I'm interested in sweets of any kind???? Have no idea why?? But then I'm not that interested in food anymore -- just enough to keep me moving!!

  5. I can resist chocolate quite easily but it is the salty savoury stuff I find hard to avoid!

  6. This sign looks very old, but it is still ok for a good suggestion :)

  8. Chocolate covered cherries...there's a spot in the grocery store that has the most amazing chocolate covered cherries...they melt in your mouth!!! I'm going to be joining you on the low carbs and exercise routine...and I already don't like it!!!

  9. I´d walk by thinking, baaahhh, chocolate, I don´t care... and then my mind´d turn the word "chocolate" into "pizza" and I´d be off the wagon in no time, too! ;-)
Merde, oui, sounds so less hurting, huh? But lets be honest... I need the pure sound of "sh..." (scheisse in German) to let out frustration!

  11. Oh yes, very susceptible! It doesn't take much for me to start reaching for the chocolate.

  12. Oh yeah - that would do it for me!

  13. When it comes to chocolate, I would never even be near the wagon!

  15. LOL! I am off sugar/sweets (again). Hint: pure %100 cacao powder in hot water with some honey will get you through!

  16. What a great pic Grace - I am not judging you in the least for 'falling off the wagon' - I can't even get on it!!! And yes, I LOVE the French language - it's so EXPRESSIVE! Joyx

  20. I hope Virginia sees this.

I'm a weirdo. I don't like chocolate. It does something wrong to my chemistry. But if someone were to whisper in my ear, "hey, Bob, wanna go to France tomorrow?" I'd drop everything.

  23. Coffee is more of a habit rather than a preference for me. You could use the 'it's healthy' excuse for chocolate if it is 70% or more cacao with little sugar. Then I read some place where coffee has health benefits.

  26. i used to LOVE chocolate but now i can go for long stretches without any. my downfall is salty! i usually try to buy chips for the boys' lunches in the flavors i don't like, otherwise just seeing them in the cupboard is enough to make me want a few, and then a few more....gah!

  27. I am like Tanya. A salt lover. Hard time staying out of a bag of chips.
