Not the Grand Budapest Hotel...

... but it is home sweet home! After my tumble on Friday I kept close to base yesterday my camera not coming out until we arrived back from the movies.. so a token shot for today to show the chill in the air last night, if you can call 13C a chill :) We went to see The Grand Budapest Hotel (preview) written and directed by Wes Anderson.. one critic described it thus "It's a filigreed toy box of a movie, so delicious-looking you may want to lick the screen" The cast was brilliant.. it was 99 minutes of big screen entertainment, you can't say that about many films these days! Here's wishing all we mums a fab Mothers Day.. Aimee, chef extraordinaire will be making dinner tonight and with a bit of luck I'll be ooing and aahing over my gorgeous granddaughter via the magic of Skype :) Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...

  20. I saw that movie a few weeks ago and loved it. I described it to someone as sort of like a painting only it moves. It really is a sort of work of art. Happy Mother's Day!

  22. Your rose looks great. I saw the Hotel Budapest and thought it was enjoyable, but very silly. (So, is there anything wrong with silly?)
