Twisted Vaudeville Circus II .....

When was the last time you were able to do this :) Seriously how is it possible to be so 'bendy'! The gorgeous contortionists the Rybka Twins, check them out here on Australia's Got Talent, were beyond amazing and by far the easiest to photograph because of the few seconds hold between moves.. we were lucky enough to have prime position front and centre row seats at the Twisted Vaudeville Circus on Thursday evening... the contortions in the last two collages captured by Aimee....

A few 'frock' changes for the fabulous Panache below, the host/ess with that little bit extra :). If you feel like a laugh come back tomorrow for a 'risqué' start to the week, oh la! Hope that you're having a fab weekend, take care.....

  1. I have seen a contortionist named Bendy Em do that... it involved putting herself into a glass box in an impossible way. Ouch!

    Terrific shots, Grace and Aimee!

  3. I guess it is all in the practicing and wanting to do it.

  4. Fantastic photos - not only are the colors great but they are nice and sharp.

I don't understand people who can do these things. Of course, I my age, I'm lucky if the knee bends and the head turns and the nose goes up and down. :)

  5. I could make all sorts of bendy jokes here, but lets just say that I kinda like these gals. And your photos of course.

  8. I've never been that flexible. The sisters are amazing looking. Great series.

  9. Just watching them twist up like that is seriously painful!

  10. My bad back tingles at the thought of trying it. bad enough doing Physio exercises. reminds me of the Speigal Tent show we went to in Adelaide.

  13. This is incredible to me, spoken as the most inflexible person I know. The costumes add to the effect. As I write this I'm sitting next to my granddaughter, who could probably put both feet behind her head. Maybe she has career prospects.

  14. This looks like so much fun! Sure, I could do that. But I would never get out of that position afterward.

  18. I usually travel a lot and haven't really got a chance to visit Australia yet. Am from the eastern part of Europe and the distance that I need to cover demands a good amount of off from the work.
Your article and photography on Perth is a brick on the edifice of beauty. Looking forward to visit Australia this summers and hope it will be a good experience.

    Thanks

  19. What a display. Again, you have a wonderful position for taking your shots (and much more comfortable for you than the positions the entertainers manage to get in). Super collection, Grace.

  21. It's incredible how some people can twist and turn and stretch their bodies! It boggles my mind.
