That sounds a little dramatic :) but you know how it is, however gentle your dentist is, having an extraction is still a slightly traumatic affair! In need of an equilibrium soothing sight we drove to Point Walter Reserve cafe to have coffee, sipped through a straw, and sit beside the Swan River for a while.. Even though it was a hot day you can see the water was choppy, sending wind surfers flying by so speedily that I missed them :). Looks like someone left their goggles behind!

The water looks so very inviting!
ReplyDeleteAnd there's always time for ice cream.
Now that's a great way to recover!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes indeed!! That is definitely a great way to recover!! Beautiful scene, lovely skies and Ben and Jerry's Fudge Chunk!!! Doesn't get any better!! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Grace!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI'll take that ice cream, view and weather! So sorry about the extraction - very un-fun, but what a lovely way to recover. Take it easy the next few days!
ReplyDeleteNice way to get your Mojo back!!!
ReplyDeleteOuch! a tooth extraction is major ... you deserved a rest by the sea Grace to calm those jangling nerves.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good recovery plan, Grace!
ReplyDeleteIce cream like that is good for everything and just the solution to every problem! You go Grace!
ReplyDeleteEwwww, dentist! Hope you feel better, Grace! Great pics, though. Again. Aww. Thanks :-)
ReplyDeleteHow do you spell 'jealous?'
ReplyDeleteI do not refer to the dentist!
I'm totally green with envy again! Hope you feel better now!
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave young lady...! What a fabulous view of that ice cream - just joking! Of course, I mean the view towards the City :). Take care, Grace.
ReplyDeleteOh no, not an extraction - you have my sympathy Grace, but the consolation prize was quite wonderful wasn't it, although I can only imagine for I haven't seen an ice-cream like that in a long time so must be time for a Perth visit methinks! Joy x
ReplyDeleteThat ice cream makes me hungry. So did you go in the water?
ReplyDeleteI'd say that ice cream is a great after dentist treatment plan. Especially THAT ice cream!
ReplyDeletePerfect treats after such trauma! Miss visiting the Swan ....
ReplyDeleteHow many teeth do you have left now?
ReplyDeleteWe were going to make banana splits with my niece. I went to the 711 for some vanilla ice cream. Freezer was full of Ben and Jerrys, many flavours, but none suitable for banana splits. I crossed the road to another shop. No ice cream at all, except for the type on a stick. No banana splits, just a drumstick to eat.
Cheeky question Andrew, but very quick.
DeleteSorry, grace, but my mind wandered and I started wincing at the word "extraction."
ReplyDeleteLove the skyline shot. Ben and Jerry and I have been having an affair for years. I really need to break if off with them.
ReplyDeleteOuch! Definitely a time for a seaside view and an ice cream Grace. Hope its not too painful.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I needed this, mon ami

I remember when I was eight years old and had to have my tonsils out. I was really worried about it until my parents said I could have all the ice cream I wanted afterwards. Well, that took all the worry away.
ReplyDeleteNice photos of the beach and water!!
ReplyDeleteDelicious Ice cream!!!
Super place to relax, recover & rejuvenate - the choco fudge is yummy !
ReplyDeleteOuch! you deserve it- (the peaceful recuperation not the pain, that is!) lovely blues and fab ice cream too- take care Grace.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love ice cream. I might even have some for breakfast after seeing your tempting photo.
ReplyDeleteDental work always requires ice cream in order to heal properly! You are a very smart person!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of a beautiful place. I'm sure the tranquility of the scene also helped make the pain go away!
The water looks inviting, despite the waves.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was there!
ReplyDeleteLooks perfect:)
