The entrance to Central Park off St Georges Terrace is the most incredible foil for reflections. Unfortunately no pics allowed walking through on the inside.. although I may have had a few accidental clicks over the years :) Above the Terrace reflected in the entrance to the Rio Tinto building below. The St. Georges Terrace entrance to the Central Park Tower is all steel, glass and mirrors but walking through to the Hay Street exit/entrance is a completely different experience..
Which do you prefer? I like both for different reasons but if I was a city worker looking for a bit of shade to sit and enjoy lunch the beautiful tall trees on the Hay Street side would win every time. Hope you have a super weekend, take care and stay safe..

Your last shot is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I'd go for the shady side! What a perfect place to take a little break.
ReplyDelete...Central Park sure is a shinny place.
ReplyDeleteI would take the side with the tall trees. Nice place and offers some shade.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, Grace.
I too like that idea of sitting under the shade of the trees and having lunch.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely. Calmed me right down, G
ReplyDeleteCentral Park must be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAll your photos are very nice!
Have a great weekend, Grace! 🤗
Beautiful modern architecture. I like all the crazy reflections you can see in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteI love that modern entrance, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one, Grace. There is one advantage of a smart phone, sneaking a shot where normally one could not use a proper camera.
ReplyDeleteGive people trees and grass and they will flock to it.
ReplyDeleteLove your first photo with all the reflections, but that is a strangely named building. I expect Central Park to look like your later photos with grass and trees.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteSome green from trees always WINS!
Lovely photos.
Hugs,
Mariette
It looks so lovely there under the trees. We had snow today.
ReplyDeleteFirst shot is interesting. Although when someone mention "Central Park" I think the one in New York City.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Those little islands of green are so precious in the city. I spent three years in London when I was a student and have had little reason or inclination to spend much time there since. Modern architecture always looks so much more attractive beneath sunny skies.
ReplyDeleteVery strange that a office tower is called Central Park. Very misleading.
ReplyDeleteBut indeed a lot of bling bling good for a few reflections.
Dear Grace, you have a beautiful city and you have the gift of capturing it for our pleasure.
ReplyDeleteGrace! "accidental clicks" - LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh, make me "home-sick"!.... Yes, please do 🧡
I love those little green oasis in the city.
ReplyDeleteSuch modern architecture. I love how the St. George's entrance sparkles like diamonds.
ReplyDeleteOh that's a tough one to answer as they both have their own beauty. Of course the lovely green grass and time outdoors in your last photo is very inviting!
ReplyDeleteThe reflections are a feast for the eyes! It would be fun photographing them from different angles.
