Never eat more than you can hold!

Excellent advice Ellie :) The small circles of ceramic art set into and scattered along the pathway at Hillarys Boat Harbour are little gems of seaside art created by children mostly during 2006/7, although I see bikini clad Grace below to the left is dated 2009! I tried to choose just a few of them to show but how could I possibly pick, they are all fabulous and deserve to be seen. Some have been stepped on more than others and are showing signs of wear and tear. There are many venues around Perth that encourage and include children's art in the design in some way, brilliant idea. Hope you had/are having a good weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  1. That Ellie knows her birds; Puffins with young can catch a whole beak-full of fish to take home to the kids. How do they do that without dropping the ones already captured?

  2. These are wonderful. Many of those kids are grown now but they will be captured forever in their youth in that place! What a great idea.

  3. The kids were probably so proud and now they are grown and still proud! Nice ones, Grace!
It is a holiday weekend in Canada - Queen Victoria's birthday and there will be fireworks tomorrow!

  4. Great advise! It's wonderful these were painted by kids and now they are older. I wonder if they still remember doing this.

  5. I'll bet you have a bunch of very proud young people ... must be great fun to see one's work displayed in such a manner. With re not eating more than you can hold, it's good advice, but unfortunately for me there's a loophole. I carry around a very large sack and I never eat more than I can hold in that sack. And let me tell you that's one heck of a lot of calories! :) BTW, one of your comments got screwed up this morning (Google is mad at me and I'm mad at Google) but I was able to copy and paste in the post just fine. Wishing you a great week ahead. Wait, you're already there. Right? So, Happy Monday?

  10. I'm loving the ceramic work, I think with more areas decorated like that makes places more enjoyable to visit.
