Flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere....

I love the flower girl
Oh, I don't know just why
She simply caught my eye
I love the flower girl she seemed so sweet and kind
She crept into my mind.. The Cowsills

Sitting in the recently opened Mrs S Cafe in Highgate, the lady with flowers in her hair had me humming the song by the The Cowsills, go on I dare you to listen, you'll love it.. a more upbeat 3.35 minutes will be hard to find :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...

  4. Oh, that is a beautiful song indeed, Grace, I´m really happy now, how come I never heard of The Cowsills (apart from the time gap, they had hit-singles till 1969 in Germany). And a very beautiful mural as well.
I´ll ask Ingo if he knows this wonderful song.

  5. That is beautiful, you have some great murals around there. Angouleme has some fabulous ones but I seldom go there. Cheers Diane

  7. A blast from the past. I thought of that song when I saw your title and followed the link. I just lost a bunch of time watching videos. After that song was the Seekers, I had to pry myself off and get some other things done. :) Easy to lose time when it comes to music. :)

  9. I really enjoyed the song. It is so bright and energetic and all the better for being live.

    1. Stupid me. I took another look and it was clearly mimed. I need to be more cynical.

  10. I saw her sitting in the rain
    Raindrops falling on her
    She didn't seem to care
She sat there and smiled at me
    Then I knew
    She could make me happy
    Flowers in her hair
    Flowers everywhere

    What a delightful mural!

  12. Oddly that very song popped up on the Recommended section of my YouTube page only yesterday and I listened to it for the first time in many years.

  17. The Cowsills! They played on campus when I was in college. They were just teenagers. God, they must be old now!
