Another cloudy day in WA..

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshng,
wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating,
there is really no such thing as bad weather
only different kinds of good weather!  John Ruskin..

I like the way you think Mr. Ruskin! We enjoyed a walk around Fremantle yesterday with fellow bloggers from Germany who are soaking up the sunshine before returning to minus degrees in their hometown. Lunch at Little Creatures is always a treat, love the contradiction of the cheeky ale swigging cherubs :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe.. p.s. I would put money on betting the guys and gals lying in the full 35C heat in first pic are not locals :)

  1. Oh, always fun to meet up with fellow bloggers!! And it does look like a beautiful day!! It's gray and grumpy here today, but we've had a lot more sun that usual for this time of year so I really shouldn't complain!! Enjoy the remainder of your week!!

  3. Your cloudy is very different! :-) Even as a non local, I wouldn't lie there. I'd be counting red angels!

  4. Gosh it may be cloudy, but it's a stunning day to me! We're back to frozen tundra in my world today.

  10. I was sad I had to miss this get-together because I didn't feel well.
There will be a next time for sure!

  11. I'll take anything but severe wind. I hate that. Loving the azure sky.

  12. Soaking up the sun in Mazatlán so I understand how northerners feel Lovely beach scene that doesn't make me envious right now!

  13. British tourists in the sun, no doubt.

My niece quoted to me, 'There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing'. Sounds like it is a quote from my sister.

  14. I used to be able to lay out on the beach like that when I was younger and now I wish I hadn't since it has made me good friends with my dermatologist! I am only now catching up on your posts and I was commenting on Aimee's blog that it looks as though Perth has been a very exciting place to be that past few days. I have really enjoyed the photos!

  17. John Ruskin was evidently an idiot or a loonie. Ask the people in Boston this month.

But, yes, these were the same cloudy skies we got in Costa Rica. -10 today back home.

  19. What a view.... I would like to sit there just NOW.

  20. I suppose you don't know what clouds are.... Yes that must be tourists baking in the full sunshine!

  21. This is not my idea of a cloudy day... :)

  22. I like the way Ruskin thinks too. :))

  23. It looks like a perfect day for some outdoor dining and I agree about those sunbathers. People who live with a lot of sun and heat tend to be very careful about lying about in the direct rays.
We've been having some very unusually warm weather here for the winter months.

  26. I bet you are right! I would love to do that for about 30 min with a big hat on.
I disagree about the weather poem......not quite that optimistic
