Ciao Bella.....!

The freedom to be who you are
and to enjoy
what is!
This is 'Bella' .. Bella on a bench by the beach! J'adore Bella, she is voluptuous, curvaceous and confidently wearing a beach cap that most... wouldn't :)  Just one of many sculptures around the state by WA artist  Greg James, he is brilliant.. I have rather a surprising one to show you soon! Taking photos of bronzes at midday or at any time is a bit of a challenge, any tips for me! Here we are Friday again, there can't be that many more until.. bah humbug! Have a super Friday, take care.....
I think she likes me :)

  9. Now that's the kind of statue we need here--but ours would probably be stick-skinny with protruding bones.

  11. You and Bella; two beauties.
Use a fill card like a large white foam board or if you want to spend money a Reflectasol. That'll give you soft fill light to soften the harsh sun and lighten the shadows. Then play around with aperture and exposure to get the result you want. Another option with bronze is to use a gold Reflecasol. Any of these methods will require an assistant and for Bella a large reflector of which would then be in the large screen type Reflectasol product line. (No I do not work for them or sell them -- I use them)
