The brekkie rush.....

It's been awhile since I snapped my feathered friends in the back garden so knowing that I wouldn't have the time or opportunity yesterday to pick up my camera later in the day all I had to do was step outside my back door about ten minutes after I'd filled the seed trays at 8 am to catch the brekkie rush. Even though the equation was a wee bit unbalanced...two pink Galahs to a flock of turtle doves, it was very obvious that size 'does' matter :) I'm hoping for a quieter day to sort through some photos I took last week and catch up..hope your week is off to a good start, happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe.....

  15. That is very similar to the way my feeder looks when I fill it. I'm amazed at how fast they can make their way through what looks to me like quite a lot of food.

  17. Love the colors in these, Gracie. I especially that second shot, wings flared in preparation for landing.

BTW, the LRB is the same band so were referring to from Australia; however none of the original members are with the band anymore.

  24. Wonderful clear shots Grace. I have come to expect this in your photography. They are terrific. I really love the one of the bird in flight and would have a go at cropping just this one bird to see what it looked like. The sunlight behind the feathers looks quite special.
