Monkey magic....!

I wasn't expecting this! Spotted while walking down James Street from the Northbridge Piazza yesterday. Not sure why the disguise, he was good, no need to hide! Moonlighting maybe :) Darn, he looked up and spotted me across the road..I don't know about you, but if I get caught taking a shot of a busker and they suss me, I have to drop in a donation..well it's only right yeh! Bit disconcerting being checked out by a chimp :). It's getting a wee bit chilly in the evening here in Perth, I might have to break out the heatbag! Have a fab Sunday, take care and stay safe.....

  4. How to become famous when wearing a mask?Or he just wants to play music for pleasure?or he's ashamed to have to play to earn money? or he's Bruno MArs?...
    Interesting anyway!

  6. Are you absolutely sure that he was wearing a mask Grace? Perhaps the look was to say "what are you looking at , so what if I'm a touch hirsute". ... Just thinking outside the box. But you did capture his natural self beautifully.

  9. Probably someone famous who is getting back to their roots. Like you, if I obviously take a photo of a busker, I feel obliged to drop a gold coin.

  14. Perhaps he was a celebrity not wanting to be recognized while he got down on the street.

  15. It is a strange habit, I noticed one with a horsehead in Amsterdam lately.... Have no idea what's the meaning of it. Must be rather warm to play music like this.

  16. Maybe he is already famous and he was trying something different to see people's reaction about his mask! :)
    Your pictures are great!
