Never too young..

There is no age limit on art appreciation 💙 Neither too young or too old, if the subject matter grabs you, you are hooked. Both pics taken on visits to Art Gallery WA.  Above shot taken two weeks ago, a group of school children fascinated by the sculptures in the gallery foyer. The pic below I took way back in 2012, wish I could remember which camera I was using back then, I love the content of the image but it certainly didn't deal with the light situation in the gallery as well as the Olympus OMD5Mk2 that I use now.  Are you using the same camera you were using 8 years ago? Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..

  3. Nice to see kids interested. No I'm not using the same camera, eith years ago I think it was either a EOS 60D or I might have just got my 70D but now I have an EOS R6 to play with

  5. I love this dearest Grace! It shows how the life cycle is very much dynamic, we learn everyday no matter what age we are in or what level of understanding we have :)

  6. My first camera was a Brownie Box I wonder what happened to it !! Lovely photo, obviously no social distancing there like we have here! I also like the second one, I like the shadow. Hope that all is good over there. Keep well and take care Diane

  7. I love both those photos. Young and old enjoying art, it doesn't get much better than that.

  8. My camera is 5 years old but it's still good, also good to take young ones to places like this, they learn more than being online.

  9. Nice photos.
Yep, still using the same camera I used in 1974. Oh, I fogot digital cameras will not last that long. Actually my Eastman 5" x 7" was made in 1912. My OMD EM-5 and Stylus 1 were made in 2013. The OMD-EM10 is a 2014. I'd like to move up to the EM-1MKII.

  10. No, I've worked my way through at least 4 cameras since 2008. Both of these shots are beautifully composed. My dad was never much on art but he used to stand like that gentleman in the second photo and study things like machinery and workmen. That photo made me think of him.

  11. Eight years ago would be three or four cameras ago for me. I like the second photo of the solitary person appreciating the art.

  12. I notice the school kids have all same thing on...Are they uniform and is that common there?

  13. LOL, Grace, that made me so remember that one girl who really did faint at seeing a real Mum in our museum.
Well, it sure was "art" in a historical way, but... museum is museum. Poor girl, that! 👻
Love the second pic. And no. I use my cam every single day, I always find something. They fit in my pocket (trousers or that skirt, you know...), are cheap and Ingo gets annoyed I need a new cam every 2-4 years. Yah. He rarely takes his, no wonder it "lasts" longer!

  16. No age limit to appreciating good art. When I worked with youngsters with learning difficulties we were often surprised by how much some them loved art galleries, classical music and even ballet.

  18. Your post made me think. Look at how amazing the difference of posture of andthe children and the elder one is! The children are curious and engaged, the elderly is lost in thought, lost in his own experience!

  19. I'm reduced to just using my camera phone now the past few years. My big camera was just getting too heavy for me to lug around any more. Love both photos - I love seeing people appreciating art - makes me happy.

  21. Using an eight year old camera ... not likely. Technology changes so quickly the minute anything goes wrong with it and needs fixing they say "we don't have the parts for that any more."

  22. Two lovely images here.

    All the best Jan

  23. Two fine images. I love museums and galleries, both of which are covid casualties. When I am there I often look for visitors who are absorbed in an artwork. Like yours, they make wonderful and thoughtful images.

  25. A GREAT SPELL CASTER (DR. EMU) THAT HELP ME BRING BACK MY EX GIRLFRIEND.
Am so happy to testify about a great spell caster that helped me when all hope was lost for me to unite with my ex-girlfriend that I love so much. I had a girlfriend that love me so much but something terrible happen to our relationship one afternoon when her friend that was always trying to get to me was trying to force me to make love to her just because she was been jealous of her friend that i was dating and on the scene my girlfriend just walk in and she thought we had something special doing together, i tried to explain things to her that her friend always do this whenever she is not with me and i always refuse her but i never told her because i did not want the both of them to be enemies to each other but she never believed me. She broke up with me and I tried times without numbers to make her believe me but she never believed me until one day i heard about the DR. EMU and I emailed him and he replied to me so kindly and helped me get back my lovely relationship that was already gone for two months.
