'Jazz music is an intensified feeling
of nonchalance'.. Francoise Sagan.
I often wonder if it is the improvisational nature of jazz that makes it so enduringly appealing.. also, a man blowing brass whether he be twenty or seventy is a pretty cool dude :) Yesterday was the perfect autumn day for an afternoon of 'jazz in the park' 🎷. My sisters, P and I joined the group of swingers, the musical kind :) in Yokine Reserve to listen to Lloyd Napier and Friends, courtesy of Jazz Club WA. Picnics in the park are always fun, with musical accompaniment, even better..
My attention did wander a little, the antics of the two dogs just in front of us were so darned cute 💙 Hope you had/are still having a lovely weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
...looks like a group of old dudes having fun playing some tunes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time. Makes me miss the Thursday night jam sessions we used to have at one of the clubs when I lived near Roanoke, VA.
