Whether young or old(er) I can't imagine many who haven't heard of the Beatles.. link just in-case you might be the only person in the world who hasn't :) Probably the biggest musical and to some degree fashion influencers of the 1960/70's. The mural here painted by Australian artist Fieldey during the Kaleidoscope Festival in November last year. Couldn't get Paul McCartney full on, damn car, anyone would think it was a car park or something.. he was my favourite too 😉 Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. thanks Miriam for the heads up!
The fab four . Looking good
ReplyDeleteIt's well done, Grace.
ReplyDeletenice pictures! Beatles always cool! EW :)
ReplyDelete...they were the Fab Four!
ReplyDeletePaul was my favorite too! Your top pic looks like the album cover!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! You can't beat the Fab Four!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Paul was my favorite too.
The boys are seen at their peak.
ReplyDeleteI loved Paul the most too. Great work.
ReplyDeleteLove them. Used to listen to them while riding in the backseat of my dad's mini cooper.
ReplyDeleteThey were the sound tack of our college and university years. The decade of the 1970s just was not as much fun after they broke up. These are fine portraits.

ReplyDeleteCheers
How could someone park in front of Paul? A sacrilege if I've ever seen one!
ReplyDeleteGreat mural!
My parents were dead against "modern music" so I didn't exactly follow them but who couldn't know about them if you grew up the 60s.
ReplyDeleteOh, Grace!!!! You do know I get earworms easily, no? The other day I bought a Pippi Longstocking calendar and the whole way back I had the (German) song in my head, awful with time (it was more than 2 km to walk).
ReplyDeleteThey made great music, the mural suits them well.
Oh yes! Great musicians and songwriters.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural Grace. Love the Beatles and their music :)
ReplyDeleteTheir influence is timeless. Great mural.

Yes Paul was it for me too!. I once had picked up some leaves of the hedge in front of his house when I was 16 years old and visiting Liverpool......
ReplyDeleteDid you keep them for ever?????
DeleteI must still have them somewhere in a closet in the attic.....
DeleteWe all loved Paul didn't we? It was those "come hither" eyes.....
ReplyDeleteGreat
ReplyDeleteGrace, racting to your question over at my place... I don´t know if The little Price really is for (young) children, here is an excerpt from WIKI:
ReplyDelete"Though ostensibly styled as a children's book, The Little Prince makes several observations about life and human nature.[12] For example, Saint-Exupéry tells of a fox meeting the young prince during his travels on Earth. The story's essence is contained in the fox saying that "One sees clearly only with the heart. The essential is invisible to the eye."[13] Other key morals articulated by the fox are: "You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed," and "It is the time you have lost for your rose that makes your rose so important." The fox's messages are arguably the book's most famous quotations because they deal with human relationships."
To be honest I think the guy need to studding a photo of them more, George an dpaul look nothing like that but then I'm being critical
ReplyDeleteYes, it was Paul for me too!
