Dreary be gone!

Found this colourful fantasy by Perth artist Daek William, who's work you have seen here many times, when we were in Subiaco. Way to go to brighten up an otherwise plain-Jane of an alley, a wee bit twicky though to get the whole mural in even with my wide-angle lens. It's a fact that art in the street makes people happy, finding this cheered me up like a cool breeze on a hot day :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  1. It is very cheerful Grace, but difficult to photograph in such a narrow lane.
    Thanks for contributing.

  6. it's a very inspired mural but indeed difficult to photograph. In any case, it illuminates a day when the Paris sky is very grey and low. have a nice week

  7. That is a very narrow alley, Grace! I love the cheerfulness of the mural. Imagine that space with nothing on the wall.

  8. This is super cool! I'm glad you found it and squeezed in there to get the photo. You reminded me that I saw one from a distance last week that I need to get back to and see if I can get a photo.

  12. You certainly find some wonderful murals, Grace. And you do a narrow alley justice with your wide angle.

  13. I really should look harder. All I ever seem to see is grafitti in the city and in country towns twee murals of bark huts etc. Not nice artwork like you find.

  14. Very, very beautiful, Grace. Still dark here, but I just know it´ll be another grey day. I might come back here just to have a look :-)

  15. Murals seem to be trending, worldwide. Indeed, it can be a challenge to get the whole mural.
